Dwight Howard Sues the Mother of His Child
Howard denied the lawsuit to reporters last week, but court documents tell a different story: “Documents obtained by WFTV in Orlando and posted on TMZ.com and WSB-TV.com show that Howard’s lawyers filed one lawsuit seeking $9.2 million in damages and the other to get custody of his 2-year-old son. News of the lawsuit spread across the internet late last week. At the time, Howard denied any lawsuits existed. However, court documents obtained by WFTV show the lawsuit was filed Dec. 7. The suit alleges that Reed, along with associates of hers, violated a previous agreement made between the two that disparaging comments made directly or indirectly against Howard not be made or published via the internet or any other communication mediums, according to court documents.”

It’s not important that people know this, but given some of Howards early comments when he first came in the league, it makes sense.
20but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal.
21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
24″No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matt. 6:19-21, 24) Looks like Dwight needs to reread that bible, and give all his stupid amounts of money to the less fortunate atheists out there (like me).
Atheists who throw around scripture are hilarious.
Really, you are.
Someone needs to explain that to me!
Shouldn’t he eeuh let’s say sue her for a mortal like amount?
Dwight, lend me your ear brother, thou shall not sue mortals for 9.2 mile!
Even if an agreement was made!
If he was suing her for 9.2 million on her own salary, this would be thrown out of court due to the outrageous difference in money he’s suing for compared to what she makes being a cheerleader.
So relax.
I’m with Hangtime on this. I’m happy to see Dwight manning up and trying to raise his child.
There are cases for everything. When a JUDGE wants to sue someone, then they are going to sue someone, no matter how ridiculous.
