  its sad to say it but kg is starting to look old. i knew the injury hurt his game but not too much, but i was wrong. i mean, kg gets burned to the hole every now and then, but at the end of the game with less than 5 sec left? that doesnt happen. that move by shard wasnt even that good, the knee is def takin his game away. ur still my fav player kg! and still confident that cs can pull it off this yr

  i hate to say it but they just don’t have it this year – kg is not the guy of 2 years ago – there’s no explosion there anymore around the hoop – if you watch when he goes to finish he’s consistently laying the ball in because he is unable to explode up to finish with dunks like he used to – it’s the cavs and hawks this year – atl may surprise some people and get to the finals

  The sky is falling the sky is falling….Celtics fans need to relax and those who hate us can enjoy themselves for the moment even though our record is probably still better than your fav team. lol. as far as “I’ll take the blame” it’s a figure of speech acknowledging that he feels responsible for the loss. No one has to blame you for you to do that. “Come on man” know the game.

  blame their age and ability- they are old. did you see Rashard past his a.. on the baseline. Geratol crew and then went and got old a.. Rasheed Air ball Wallace. They are getting exposed this weekend. ATL will be a handful and then L.A. is in the house to finish the leprechauns off. Suicide watch for Boston fans.

  I definitely think the knee is hurting him more than he’s letting on. He limps all over the court. Lewis is not that quick off the dribble to beat KG like he did. KG missed 2 ally-oops that he would have finished in the past. I even saw Lewis out jump him for a rebound and putback at one point. I love KG so it’s tough to see him out there not looking his best.

  C’s let the Magic grab 17 offensive boards and committed 30 fouls. Not sure you can win any game doing that. I do think KG is still working his way back. He seemed to be getting in a groove before he hyperextended his knee. Here’s hoping everyone in Green is healthy come playoff time…

  @ sporting: if there is such a thing as karma, i don’t know if it negatively impact’s athlete’s knees because of prior sh*t-talking. forget about karma i think god himself has intervened. who’s defense is the same at 32 as it was at 22? yeah it was funny when the “fakers” ended up winning that series. east is wide open, i hope it’s a (as healthy as can be) Cs/Lakers finals, but the C’s, cavs, magic, and hawks all see pretty even. it will be interesting if the C’s go down 0-4 tonight against the hawks. that might be an epic playoff series.

  In fairness to Garnett, it was half age but half a mental lapse in judgement on that final play. Ray Lew pulled an AMAZING move where he stopped for just a second as if he was going to set up for a jumper and Garnett totally bought it, and the moment Garnett stopped, Ray Lew turned up the jets and sprinted around him. Of course, the age part is Garnett couldn’t re-up his speed and go up for a block or foul… but hey, it was a great move by Lewis.

  i dont hate the C´s or Garnett, actually love Ray Ray and Rondo´s game…just dont like KG´s attitude towards rookies, non experieced cats, underdogs and young teams like my Blazers..I WANT TO SEE HIM TALK SH1T AND ACT LIKE A FOOL TO SOMEONE LIKE SHAQ OR BIG BEN WALLACE, HE ONLY GOES AFTER somewhat lesser cats

  Kenny G, needs to accept blame, he played dumb defense and I get tired of seeing his moving screens on every pick and roll, he gets away with it because he is so skinny and pushes off with his hands every time. Celtics team is over, they got one lucky year and thats it. I would blow the team up trading Allen for Monta and then trying to get AL Jefferson back for Garnett ( Minesotta got the best of the deal now—to much mileage and karma its getting his punk talking to scrubs not good players back) or even trade Garnett for the best low post player in the game Zach Randolph or trade Garnett for Amare. CETLIC FANS ITS OVER!!!

  @The Seed: Celtics “got one lucky year”? So that’s how you win championships…luck. And all these years, teams having been doing things like playing crushing defense and bringing in three future hall of famers. Celtics are in a slump, no doubt. But remember, they had a great start to the season, at one point won eleven in a row, and for a good chunk of the season, were neck and neck with L.A. for the league’s best record. I don’t think even Celtics fans expected them to wind up with the league’s best record–it’s a long, long season, and let’s face it, this is an old team–but as long as they’re healthy, they WILL be a scary team come playoff time. They just have too much talent and experience to be counted out in January.

  I’m glad to see KG take responsibiity and focus on improving his game. If it’s his knee or not, his fault or not, I like that he’s taking personal ownership to improve. The second half of the season will be interesting for the Celts. They really have to watch for too many injuries and minutes cause the big 3 + Sheed have so many miles on them. If healthy and somewhat ‘fresh’ at the end of the season they will be a force to reckon with. But if they continue this kind of play Cleveland should be able to skate on in to the finals (not that Orlando or Atl are pushovers).

  last nite was not KGz fault. if it wasnt for Ray Allen who had missed the last 4 shots he tried to make gettin the ball @ the last 7 sec. to shoot…. celticz woulda won. Rondo shoulda gave the ball to Pierce or shoot it himself. it was a bad play

  Never know with how Ainge pulled things off in the summer of 07. He could pull of an impressive trade this off season. Be exciting to see who he brings but Amare’ wouldn’t be a bad fit as a Center that can score as KG, even though I’m fan of the guy, can’t score like he used to. Neither can Sheed who at times has become a Vince Carter out in the perimeter a majority of the time. McGrady wouldn’t be a bad fit either sharing the minutes with the now aging and injury prone Peirce and Allen. Allen would be safer accepting a lessor contract but sticking with the team along with possibly signing McGrady who’s contract will be gone and will only be offered half or less of what he’s earning now when he has to sign a new contract with a team… that is if anyone trusts his health. But who know’s whats going to happen come June. One things for sure, they won’t be a title team sticking with this same format next season as injury and age are beginning to show.
