MJ, Barkley Blamed for Tiger Woods’ Drama
El Tigre’s former adviser and lawyer tells Vanity Fair that Jordan and Barkley enabled him: “Woods’s preferred place to stay in Las Vegas was the Mansion at the MGM Grand, where a one-bedroom suite costs $5,000 per night. He would gamble in the ultra-exclusive V.I.P. casino nearby. According to a source known as Robin Hood 702, ‘sometimes the only people in the place were me, Tiger Woods, and Michael Jordan. Each of us sat at our own private table and played big. Tiger plays big. Up to 30 grand a hand … and when you’re playing splits and doubles, you can have 150 grand on one hand.’ ‘When Tiger showed up in Vegas, he was always with Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley,’ according to Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Norm Clarke. Years earlier, however, John Merchant had warned Woods to avoid Jordan and Barkley, saying of Jordan, ‘Stay away from that son of a b*tch, because he doesn’t have anything to offer to the f*cking world in which he lives except playing basketball.’ Merchant adds, ‘Are they his black role models? You’ve got to be kidding me.’”

what type of racist BS is that? my bad for clicking this piece of non journalism.
And, to be clear since folks didn’t read the article it seems. TIGER DID NOT BLAME ANYONE.
A FORMER employee of his blamed other people. So, while I understand the ire, it’s misplaced.
I don’t know if I’m the same person you’re thinking of, but I bet not. If you’re thinking of James the Balla or some other James, I’m not him. I once posted as Krayzie Bone, then for some reason that ID got blocked on here (I don’t know why but I didn’t bother asking). So I started posting as James aka the artist formerly known as krayze bone. Everytime i cleared my cache at home though i had to retype that so i just shortened it. I don’t post that often but when I do its usually a social comment not about BBall (I like the NBA but I can’t be bothered to argue too much about it).
@ Illydiva: I think you’ve misunderstood that quote… he DOES see Tiger as black, and thinks the dude needs black role models. It’s a questionable statement but I’m really not sure it’s as bad as some people are making it out to be. Racist? Am I missing a connotation to it or something?
However, the comment was more about ‘what to do with your money when you’re successful’ so, you know, that’s why it’s questionable. I was just wondering if I was missing something here that made it worse.
MikeC: Jordan was married until VERY recently and, word on the street is, he was cheating just as bad as Tiger Woods was. Brush up on yer E! News son!
And he’s a key source for the article?
That’s sloppy right there. I mean, it’s bad enough to quote the chicks who banged a married man and are complaining that he was too cheap to break them off.
But, when you quote jilted employees who haven’t been employed for a decade, well that’s just horrible work right there.
Meh, but it’s not surprising.
Mike cheated. That ain’t a rumor. He had a chick knocked up, but she delivered a stillborn baby. Karla Knafel. Check it out.
