MJ, Barkley Blamed for Tiger Woods’ Drama

El Tigre’s former adviser and lawyer tells Vanity Fair that Jordan and Barkley enabled him: “Woods’s preferred place to stay in Las Vegas was the Mansion at the MGM Grand, where a one-bedroom suite costs $5,000 per night. He would gamble in the ultra-exclusive V.I.P. casino nearby. According to a source known as Robin Hood 702, ‘sometimes the only people in the place were me, Tiger Woods, and Michael Jordan. Each of us sat at our own private table and played big. Tiger plays big. Up to 30 grand a hand … and when you’re playing splits and doubles, you can have 150 grand on one hand.’ ‘When Tiger showed up in Vegas, he was always with Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley,’ according to Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Norm Clarke. Years earlier, however, John Merchant had warned Woods to avoid Jordan and Barkley, saying of Jordan, ‘Stay away from that son of a b*tch, because he doesn’t have anything to offer to the f*cking world in which he lives except playing basketball.’ Merchant adds, ‘Are they his black role models? You’ve got to be kidding me.’”

    It should also be pointed out that this guy hasn’t had any association with Tiger’s camp since 1997. It wasn’t like he was saying this stuff to Tiger a year ago. Tiger wasn’t married back then so he could sleep with whoever the hell he wanted to, and if MJ and Charles were goading him then so what? This guy is just another chump trying to get press off of the likes of Tiger, MJ, and Charles.

    Barkley said a long time ago that he wasent a role model, Jordan has never tried to be anything more than a bball player and business man and Tiger has never done anything besides play golf do commercials and count money, people are angry because the reality of these peoples personalities dont match the perception they had of said individuals in there heads..not their faults they are human..we all know similar people in our personal lives..

    That’s sloppy right there. I mean, it’s bad enough to quote the chicks who banged a married man and are complaining that he was too cheap to break them off.
    But, when you quote jilted employees who haven’t been employed for a decade, well that’s just horrible work right there.

    I totatly agree, MJ has been my Idol from time, since I was a little boy. some of the stuff he says is inspirational, helped in life when your down in the dumps. him and charles get hated on for keeping it real and telling the truth, people need to stop watching E! and obsessing about celebrities lives. and to say hes not relevant out basketball is stupid. he donated his wizard pay to 9/11, the Jordan Brand donates to high school, and underprivileged kids and to colleges in fact. he took a no name motorcycle team sponsored it and it won a title few years after. Charles has said he isnt a role model, MJ is he the best husband doubt it, but ya’ll dont know what happened in his marriage, like Charles said about his DUI its none of your business ima keep it private, so ya’ll saying he cheated is just media rumors, and we all know how reliable they are. unless you we legit in that home you know nothing, i know nothing either. but MJ is the G.O.A.T. so sue him if hes got a bit of a swagger and attitude, cant blame tiger for wanting to hang out some of the coolest brothers around, how many of you can honestly say growing up you didnt wanna be like Mike? Tiger got to do it, but hes not blaming him, other people are, tiger manned up, almost, but still these are adults. the lines dont watch me watch tv, comes to mind when it comes to their personal lives.

    There is a difference between Mike the BASKETBALL PLAYER and the HUMAN BEING that I think people often forget. Sure I would love to be like mike on the court. Being able to give the allusion of flight. That would be neat. But out of the court? Nah. I wouldn’t want to be a man that is motivated on winning to the point that rationality and reason becomes skewed.

    @Jukai – From what I recollect, Jordan was married, separated, reconciled, separated, and now divorced. There’s very little doubt he was up to no good during that entire period. My point was that Jordan is currently a single man who can do as he pleases with few consequences, and that Tiger is in image-resurrection mode, trying to stay with his wife and suck up to the companies he endorses. However, I must offer up a wholehearted apology for not being up on my E! News. My cable package doesn’t have it (I think. Or I’ve just always flipped past it due to not caring.). I guess I have a touch of old-fashioned in me. If you want to toss your wiener into random cooz-holes, don’t get married. When you’re done with all that and find the cooz-hole that was made for your wiener, then marry it. I hope that made sense. I’m kinda drunk.
