Sources: Warriors Accepting Offers Today

ESPN’s Ric Bucher has sources, and here’s what he says they’re saying: “The Golden State Warriors will begin accepting bids on the franchise starting Monday, and four or five groups are expected to make offers at some point, a league source told ESPN The Magazine’s Ric Bucher on Sunday. In March, Golden State hired Galatioto Sports Partners to handle selling the franchise and serve as their exclusive financial adviser throughout the process. Oracle Corp. CEO Larry Ellison has already made it well known he wants to buy the team. The Warriors’ struggles on the court — they finished this season well out of the playoffs at 26-56 — have been compounded by current owner Chris Cohan’s financial problems. In 2007, the Internal Revenue Service said Cohan owed more than $160 million in back income taxes and penalties from the 1998 sale of a cable television company.”

My grandma’s false teeth, a half bag of Lay’s, spare battery for some laptop, and my self-esteem. Hope the Warriors will consider.

My N64, Beetle Adventure racing, about 30 random CD’s of burned music circa 2004, a pair of Air Jordan X, and a 20 dollar bill on my desk…pretty sure that’l get me to forefront of the bidding

kobeismypuppy’s pregnant girlfriend (since i did the deed, i might as well be able to trade it for what i want), 3 boxes of the ‘Roarin Waters’ Capri-Suns, the trophy Sean May got from Guinniess book of world records for most weight gained in a day (29 pounds, 7 ounces), my old Baron Davis jersey from his Hornets days(childrens XL), a fake $20 bill, Jamarcus Russel, a reading light, my map of the world, and my copy of 1983 that i stole from the school library. Pretty sure i am the highest bidder (not that i offered more, its just i am thinking about the dankiest of the dank right now)

is the book 1983 the prequel to 1984 by orwell? that might have some value and put you over the top

  • Jose Posted: May.17 at 6:34 pm
throw in a pack of Gatorade and i’ll take it for a washing machine

  • BETCATS Posted: May.17 at 7:54 pm
remo: 1983 is this book about 1983. It explains the cold war and all that stuff. No relation to 1984, so in that sense it decreases the value. But it was owned by me, which makes it 1 billion times more valuble than anything Orwell ever wrote.
