Zach Randolph Allegedly Involved in Strip Club Brawl

The last 48 hours of Z-Bo’s life have been very, very bad. Like, terrible. TMZ has the latest: “The 6’9″ All-Star has been named in a police report detailing an alleged brawl in an L.A. area strip club yesterday. According to the Gardena Police Department, officers responded to Starz strip club around 2 AM Wednesday morning — after someone called 911 claiming a man named Gary Ferguson had been badly beaten by someone in Zach Randolph’s crew. Ferguson told police Zach was present at the club — but did not strike him during the alleged attack. But according to Ferguson, it’s not the first time he’s had a violent encounter with the Memphis Grizzlies player. As TMZ previously reported, Ferguson sued Randolph last year — claiming the NBA star attacked him in a pizza joint back in 2008. That case is set to go to trial in September. As for the strip club incident — we’re told police are investigating. So far, no charges have been filed against anyone.”

    Suge Knight would be proud.

I just don’t think David Stern will be as understanding of all this embarrassing NBA news.

Zach is very talented plays like the old rodeney rodgers but he has to start getting it or he is going to be a memory like antoine walker

And people wondered why TMZ felt the need to expand to the sports world. Cause there are knuckleheads out there like Z-Bo…Sad.

Just when we all though that Zach had righted his ways (becoming an All-Star, providing leadership for the young Grizzlies, staying clear of trouble) the old Zach is back – I’m sorry but I can’t help but smile. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. But I agree this Gary-caracters involvement seems shady. Still a headline containing ‘Zach randolph’ and ‘Strip Club Brawl’ can hardly surprise anyone.

can we start calling him pac man now?

Memphis fans are now learning things that NY and Portland fans have known for quite some time. Give it time Griz fans, in another year, you’ll read headlines like this and say “Phew, I’m glad we traded that guy for next to nothing because next to nothing is worth more.” Just wait until the Griz are making a playoff push and he gets suspended for 3 or 4 critical games. That’s still on the horizon.

Why do athletes have no sense? I don’t get how people keep their “homies” around when it can potentially cost them millions of dollars. I used to get myself in trouble as young one as well, then I got smart and cut those ties to idiots. Isn’t there someone in Zach’s life that can tell him his friends are threatening his career?

DAMN, I just read rav’s link. Wonder if OJ and Rudy had any idea they were playing with Pablo freakin’ Escobar? Oh hell, what am I talking about? He was probably their dealer.

The Grizz will hold on to him until he fulfills his “good luck charm” duties and they get the number 1 overall pick, after which they’ll dump him like Portland and the Clips. lol

Do we have history here? Could this be the first NBA player to have two front page felony SLAM articles in the history of the site? Who says Z-Bo didn’t have goals?

Wasn’t he allegedly involved in a drug bust as well? Damn. Some players refuse to escape the lifestyle thats conveyed on TV or the hood. He had problems in Portland as well.

Ive seen Zach and Q.woods at a popular mall here in Portland (lloyd center for any other Portlanders) and hes a scary dude. not someone I would wanna meet in a dark ally. And Ive seen Jermaine Oneal at the same mall when he was with Pacers and he actually seemed pleasent. was talking with kids and watching ice skaters (no joke). surprising cuz he kinda seems like a jerk on the court.

  • 916inthe503

I’m Amazed NBA players would go to a mall as wack as lloyd center. I guess it is near arena
