2010 NBA Draft Green Room Invitees

In today’s Polladaday, we ask your opinion on the best big in the 2010 Draft. With eight of the 15 Green Room invites being big men (and only one PG, by the way), it’s safe you say options are diverse.

Cole Aldrich (Kansas)
Al-Farouq Aminu (Wake Forest)
Luke Babbitt (Nevada)
DeMarcus Cousins (Kentucky)
Ed Davis (North Carolina)
Derrick Favors (Georgia Tech)
Paul George (Fresno State)
Gordon Hayward (Butler)
Xavier Henry (Kansas)
Wesley Johnson (Syracuse)
Greg Monroe (Georgetown)
Patrick Patterson (Kentucky)
Evan Turner (Ohio State)
Ekpe Udoh (Baylor)
John Wall (Kentucky)

This draft is definitely lacking some point guards. How good are the chances that the first 2 PG’s drafted are John Wall and Bledsoe (both from the same team)?

@niQ: The chances are very, very good.
I thought it was interesting that Hayward was invited. Certainly could be a lottery pick, but not a sure thing.

Wait, I didn’t see the first two PG’s drafted, I thought it was that they were both drafted. I change my answer to: the chances are good.

The reason no one is projectig any more than 1-3 PGs in the top 30 picks because about 16 were drafted in the first round last season. It makes sense then, that with the PG position in okay shape for most teams, everyone is clamouring after the best bigs in the land this time around…..Mind you. If I was stuck sitting on my hands with the 17th pick or something like that (what with anyone REMOTELY guaranteeing NBA level success off the table) I’m taking my boy John Scheyer! He has a 2nd team ALL NBA ROOKIE guard spot LOCKED UP.
