It seems to be a consensus that Favors and Cousins are the most sought-after big men in this year’s draft. Who does SLAM Nation take come Thursday? If you think otherwise, let us know in the comments section.

Best big man right now is Cousins. He just doesn’t have the maturity. But Favors is oozing with potential so we’ll have to see who ends up being better.

Cousins easily, Favors is still green, perhaps he’s got the brighter future and more potential and certaintly more athleticism but Favoris is the total package right now. Rebounds, defends, can finish around the basket. You gotta take him when he’s available. The Sixers would be fools to pass up on him imo

Cousins is a guy that will give you 13 and 10 right now. Derrick isn’t there yet. If you want it now, you gotta go with Cousins

@ deano: The Sixers are probably gonna take Evan Turner anyway.

Greg monroe. Three years from now, this might change, but this year, he is gonna burn them.

So many great bigs in this draft. But, yes, it’ll be Cousins and Favors before the rest.

favors is like either tyrus thomas or dwight howard. cousins can be derrick coleman with less range and mobility. hm… but really favors you are hoping he will one day get to cousins’ skill level. and that’s a big if. look at how dwight howard has progressed. i’m not sure if he’s not working on it or he just doesn’t get it, but he just has no post moves.

Dude, Cousins is gonna be great if he gets drafted by a team with a coach who can deal with him. He’s gonna be a high maintenance player, but if he gets the right coach I think he could be the best player, not just big, but player in the draft. He’s got NBA skill and size right now and he’s only 19.
