Doc Rivers Wants Ray Allen back

Doc Rivers said Friday that he hopes Ray Allen signs an extension to stay with the Celtics instead of becoming a free agent this summer: “‘I think I’ve said in the middle of the year, hopefully we sign Ray back,’ Rivers said. ‘I think I can say that, if not I just got fined [for tampering].’”

    Ray’s scoring has gone away but he has done other things..watch the entire floor and you’ll see his value in other areas. Granted his scoring is what he’s known for and what I want to see return for the remainder of the series..

    his scoring hasn’t been consistent, but he made some timely baskets down the stretch in game 4. plus, his defense on Kobe has been very good.
