Luke Ridnour, Wolves Agree to 4 Years, $16M

What can we say? Minnesota must have a thing for point guards. As first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski: “Luke Ridnour has agreed in principle to a 4-year, $16 million deal with Wolves, sources say. Wolves may move Ramon Sessions to Charlotte.”

Has the wolves GM been watching me play NBA Live? I usually start a team of all PG’s as well

  • NBA Kid

Jennings now has full reign as point in Milwaukee. Dude’s gonna have an insane season since he has even better teammates now.

@NBA Kid: ????? The article is about Minnesota.
Regardless, Ricky Rubio needs to get his ass over to Miami, somehow someway.

I know there is solid logic and reason behind this – I just can’t find it.

WangChung: you know that ridnour was bj’s back-up in milwaukee last year, right?

Yeah, backup, meaning he really wasn’t holding Jennings back.

  • k

Yeah, he did start all 82 games.

I am allowed to say “What the hell”, right?

  • LA Huey

@Omar, “What the hell” is an understatement.

How does he keep his job and Kevin Pritchard gets fired??????????

I love it. PGs are to Minnesota what crack is to crackheads. They just can’t get enough.

Minnesota loves point guards and slow power forwards with no lift. Ironically, I think the best addition to the Wolves roster is by far, Michael Beasley. He may well have his best statistical season in Minny. Anyone that thinks Rubio will play in Minnesota, is drinking the Kahn Kool-aid. Sure, Kahn bet the bank on Rubio, but it won’t happen, period. I see Rubio playing for the Knicks….

I agree with your take on the Beasley move. The crazy part is that Minnesota could have actually formed a pretty good team. Other teams want PGs and the Wolves could get some decent pieces if they let one or two or three of theirs go.

Kahn is such an idiotic a$$hole, Rubio MUST BE FREE OF THIS DOUCHE OF A GM, but please, not Miami, Portland for da ship or NYC for rebuilding.

Luke? Why is this guy still in the league? He sux. T-Wolves made 1 good move in the last 20 years, drafting KG. That’s it.

I don’t get this move AT ALL.

YES! The Bobcats are gonna get Sessions!

  • JoeMaMa

Beasley, Wesley Johnson, Flynn, Brewer, Love, Ellington, Webster, Milicic. Am I wrong in seeing Kahn putting together a young solid group of guys? Shooters, athletic wings, a potential 20 ppg scorer in Beasley, defense with Milicic, rebounding with Love…don’t get me wrong. They won’t go anywhere for a couple of years, but Kahn’s done the necessary work of starting over, going young, and building. And when they move Sessions for cap space or Matt Carroll (salaries match), they’ll have space/more shooting. I think it’s become trendy to bash Kahn, but he’s doing what it takes to rebuild a franchise that still feels the loss of KG.

Do you even watch basketball…or just listen to all the hype about LBJ?
Rid is one of the most underrated pg in the game, the problem is the sonics & bucks didn’t use him to his stregths, he is more of a Nash style pg, and you can’t achieve that on a team with Ray Allen as your sg, and backing up some rookie that played way too much and produced way too little. Rid’s numbers were way better per time ratio then bj’s. Rid will bring wins if they play him more than 10 min a game.
You need to stop watching ESPN!
