Steve Nash led the League in dimes in ’09-10 with 11 per game (892 total). Will he hold the No. 1 spot this year?
Who will be this season's assists leader?

it’s actually not that big of a stretch. he was sixth last year and he played with scrubs. passing to wade/bosh/miller might mean he gets for assisteses.
I voted for Nashty.
Voted for Williams. With no Stoudemire inside, Nash will have some less options to pass the ball to.
IF CP3 can stay healthy, I’ll take my chances with him. Was kind of disappointed with his last season though… Especially since he was on my fantasy team. lol
LONG… LIVE… THE KING.
i said cp3… but as it was ‘submitting’.. i asked myself.. ‘who the hell is he going to pass to?’
unrel, how about Buckets Thornton, West, Ariza, and that new guy Q-Pon? How is Brandon Rush not in the conversation? or JR Smith? Or Wilson Chandler? They’ve been practicing passing to the left all off-season long.
I’m really confused as to why anyone would be confused by the thought of LeBron James leading the League in assists.
With teammates like Bosh, Wade, House and Miller, LeBron could easily average double figures in assists next season. If he toned down his scoring and become more of a playmaker (which would benefit the Heat anyways) I could see him averaging something like 22 points, 11 assists, 6-7 rebounds a game. Maybe not the monster stat-line he’s been known for, but it would make for a monster win total for the Heat.
Agreed with Ryan. I figured he’d definitely get a higher percentage of votes than the 13 he’s got now.
Deron Williams. Here is why. Okur will be coming off the bench. Millsap will be the 4 and big Al at the 5. Big Al is not a perimeter shooter, thus giving Deron Williams a lot more opportunities for assists than Okur. Okur had a lot of catch-dribble-drive plays last year, so no assists were counted.
Plus. Will is going to have RajaBell spotting up. He’s deadly!
@Leonel.. i hear you.. but i think this season.. he’s going to be asked to score more.. but.. i’m still standing by him to lead the L in dimes..
co-sign Ryan Jones
I don’t know why people is so surprised. Lebron could very well lead the league in assists, specially with Miami. The guy can create many many chances with Wade and Bosh, man it wouldn’t surprise me at all. The Heat is the team where he could really find his true game. Egocentric, yes full of himself, of course, but Lebron’s got great court vision and a very high basketball I.Q.
LeBron could lead the league in assists every year if he wanted to. Like, if he really really wanted to, he could do it every year.
unfortunately high bball i.q doesn’t equal high actual i.q.
I’ll say CP3 because he’s the BEST point in the league though I won’t be surprised if Bron gets close.
@Ansonpanson no question about that!
the reason bron won’t lead the league is because of the playing style of bosh and wade. both of those two are clearly off the dribble guys which (usually) means that the person who passed them the ball doesn’t get the assist
lebron double figure assists, yes and i see it happening. lead the league is very very possible. but i think he wont, im going Nash again.
