Pat Riley: LeBron James, Chris Bosh Fully Healthy

Riley says his new guns are injury-free heading into training camp. From the Herald: “Having limped out of last season with injuries, Miami Heat forwards LeBron James and Chris Bosh likely won’t miss a step when the team opens training camp next week. Heat president Pat Riley said Thursday that James and Bosh recently passed voluntary conditioning tests and have recovered from injuries that limited both late last season and into the playoffs. James played with a strained right elbow during Cleveland’s playoff run that ended with a six-game loss to Boston in the second round of the playoffs. Bosh sustained a facial fracture April 6 that required surgery. He missed the final five games of the regular season with Toronto. He also has missed dozens of games in recent years with soreness in both knees. Although James and the Cavaliers initially downplayed the significance of the strain last season, Riley said Thursday ‘it was a real injury’ the Heat checked out after James signed with the Heat as a free agent in July. Riley said James passed a physical examination before signing his six-year, $110 million contract and has shown no discomfort in workouts with Miami’s staff.”

Co-sign Cantrell, I am counting down the days on a calender like I’m in prison. 30+ days to nuclear war.

  • IAMORANGE4EVER

Who’s the coach in Miami again?

  • Love4Humanity

It’s going to be fun watching this team play. It will also be fun to watch other teams raise their game to another level against them except the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls and Magic who are on level ground with them. This will be a fun season.

imagine how LeKing simply kept the Cavs(by himself) in the number 1 spot in the East…now add the Flash and the smooth jump shot of CB4…im telling u its gonna be an amazing team to watch… im playing right now on my modified 2k10…

^^^ This is why playing 2k11 online this year is gonna suck: everyone’s gonna be playing the Heat, using Lebron as a do-it-all PG. Me and my little Warriors & Bucks squads are gonna have a hard time finding a fun matchup.

  • Cool Dude

lol the elbow. Number 1 on the greatest fake injury of all time, right behind Paul Pierce’s wheelchair.

^^^ Dude, If it’s Number 1 on your “greatest fake injury” list, how can it be BEHIND anything?

I am glad they are healthy.

not like Lebron’s elbow injury was that bad in the first place. Bosh’s injury yes, but LBJ’s? Eh…

  • http://slamonline.com big_ticket

yeah hopefully the season starts now..
lebron james and company will be the next champs

  • Conoro

Oh, so James didn’t fake his elbow injury to avoid criticism for his Cavaliers being beaten by the Celtics like Kobe would have, JTaylor? Guess not.

  • Blackphantom

Nothing beats Paul Pierce’s wheelchair when it comes to fake injuries

  • duckas

just pathetic to see miami come up in papers over and again

I just got to say this one true fact about this Lebron matter. For one thing he made the right decision for himself and his fam, bottom line. He wants to win so God bless wish him the best of luck. Even though I’m a little mad that he left (and that the Cavs are really gonna suck this year!) it’s all good. Also for the record Charles Barkley is hypocrite, I say that becuz how is he gonna criticize Lebron for leavin the Cavs to join Wade and Bosh when he left the Suns to join Scottie Pippen, Hakeem Olajuwan, and Clyde i the mid 90′s? What sense does that make. NONE!

    ^In my bad.
