The Bulls and Nuggets may or may not have talked about a Carmelo trade, but word is Chicago’s reluctant to give up their power forward. Is that reasonable?
Should the Bulls give up Joakim Noah for Carmelo?

Who the f**k voted for this! Noah is so impotant to the team that Melo is not worthy. In what planet do you fools watch basketball in?
without Noah the bulls wont have a true centre…which is hard to come by in the league
cosign Bryan, yeah pretty much and they really won’t have someone who can be a defensive presence inside and that’ll kill them if they have aspirations to make it past the first or second round.
if you wanna make it out of the east, you need a good big man to both stop dwight and bully the heat’s front line. can’t give up noah
Three years ago, it was Luol Deng not being included that killed the Chicago Bulls chances for landing a very disgruntled Kobe Bryant. Now in 2010 you have the Bulls not wanting to include JoaWho Noah in a trade for Carmelo Anthony. Those Bulls are so lovable!
Come one, you gotta give something to get something (unless you’re the Lakers) in a big trade. To me the benefits far outwiegh the costs of including Noah in a trade for one of the 5 best player in the league.
Good trade.. Melo wud fit in wif da bulls!!
Anthony Randolph will develop into a more complete player than Joakim Noah. Put that in your pipe, Pippen.
woooow,i love how the Bulls love their player…seriously Noah for one of the best scorer in recent history…don’t lose out like you did on the black mamba….HEAT ALLDAY
i want Melo traded to the Bulls. But not for Noah.
who woulda thought Noah would been so good in the NBA, good enough to not even trade for Melo? I certainly did not. Put on weight, muscle. dude is vital.
Noah Melo for you!
sigh. man…tough tough call. noah is such a vital piece to this team’s future b/c he does all the dirty work at a high level and with a passion that sparks this team. BUT, melo is among the top 5 scorers in the whole league. honestly, if they (bulls) don’t pull the trigger on this deal, they’re looking at a 2nd round exit. if they do pull the trigger, i still think they’re looking at a 2nd round exit with the possibility of melo leaving in the offseason, and the loss of one of your best (if not your very best) defensive player. i do not envy the bulls gm at this moment
If Noah was in a Melo trade, the Bulls could not beat the Lakers. I could see them having a chance with the Heat, Magic, and even Celtics but Gasol/Bynum/Odom would overwhelm.
question.. what if Denver also packaged Nene in the Melo trade, for Noah, Taj, James Johnson and/or picks. I think salary wouldn’t match, but what if there’s also a third party to match salaries. Would that be fair enough for both teams?
@J, I think for Denver, they’d want to see what other offers they could field. As of right now, I’d say it’d be worth it for Chi but that deal looks pretty bad for Denver.

i don’t think i can comment after such a post as yours.haha
@ IAMORANGE4EVER: Luol Deng can flat out ball. Past few years are just unfortunate injuries, dude’s still got plenty of potential which is why they didn’t want to trade him at the time ’cause they thought he was going to blossom… And I know, he hasn’t yet, but this year he has one helluva chance.
I still don’t understand why Melo wants to leave. Just honor your word and then you are free to choose whoever you wanna play for dude
Noah For Melo is like Pau Gasol For Marc Gasol It’s a good trade for the bulls
This is bull! (no pun intended) Melo will win the Nuggs a chip!!! or at least appear in the finals when kobe’s finally finally rips off.
