Charlie Villanueva Wants to Fight Kevin Garnett

Not only does Charlie V have plenty of issues on his own squad, but he’s also gotta worry about an opponent taking derogatory shots at the way he looks. According to Charlie, this should be settled with fists: “KG talks alot of crap, he’s prob never been in a fight, I would love to get in a ring with him, I will expose him … KG called me a cancer patient, I’m pissed because, u know how many people died from cancer, and he’s tossing it like it’s a joke.”

    I highly doubt Garnett called him a “cancer patient.” Likely, he said “You look like a cancer patient,” but that just doesn’t hold the same offensive weight as the former does. Villanueva is softer than Chris Bosh and Dwight Howard when it comes to being insulted.

    Now, had he made a similar comment to George or Casey Karl, or to Nene, it would have been a whole different scenario. My thinking is that the Pistons have sucked ever since they signed Villanueva to his bloated contract, and this is his way of garnering some sympathy by the media since they are probably bashing him for sucking.

    Cmon’ Charlie!…Why didn’t you just take the fine and suspension and let KG have it on the court if it means that much to you. Why tell the world, mark-a** move if you ask me. Can’t help but have a smirk on my face. I can actually hear KG calling him this after blowing by him for quick shot.     Some things are just plain wrong to make fun of. Making fun of people with cancer or to use cancer in any kind of joke should be off limits. As a professional CV did the right thing by not suckerpunching KG or starting any kind of physical fight. Honestly I alway thought CV looked kind of ‘off’ and assumed he must have something (thought the same thing about Sam Cassel too), so I never made a comment about it. Jokes about disease, slavery, religion and other issues should just not happen. If they just stick to ‘yo mamma’ jokes or who’s hung like webster jokes, or i’m better than you trash talk is all good. But don’t go cancer patient on somebody.

    KG is a punk, when it comes to confontation he is all talk. Remember when he tried to smack tim duncan in the head back in the day and TD just looked at him like pfft got no time for you.
