Bulls Thinking of Sitting Injured Joakim Noah?

The injury bug has hit the Bulls of late, and the latest victim could be Joakim Noah. Reports the Chicago Tribune: “Privately, Joakim Noah has been battling bruised tendons in his right hand, which keeps getting whacked and thus can’t heal. Team sources told the Tribune management has had internal discussions about sitting Noah, although the center traveled to Toronto and is scheduled to play Wednesday against the Raptors when the Bulls vie for their seventh straight victory. As for [Derrick] Rose, it appears time to add ‘quick healer’ to his long list of accomplishments this season. One day after flipping over the Pacers’ Brandon Rush on a drive, not to mention tweaking his left ankle, Rose vowed to play … Noah wasn’t on the Berto Center court when reporters were granted access but he has been playing with a taped hand off and on since first getting whacked earlier this month. Noah and Rose have been sharing a catch phrase of ‘mind over matter’ to deal with their respective injuries, but Noah’s isn’t getting better. ‘If someone can’t go, the next guy steps up and gets the job done,’ [Tom] Thibodeau said.”

If Noah sits, prepare for the losing to begin.

Noah plays a big part in the Bulls success. Get well soon.

Thibs took note of what happened to Vinny after playing Noah too long and he wants no part in it. It’s a choke party, bring your own tie…

If Noah plays, maybe Pax will get all “tough guy” again and beat up their coach..

Co-sign Allenp. Bulls lost quite a few games last season when Noah wasn’t in the lineup. Although this season, I’ve notice Boozer and Gibson on the floor together are pretty effective against smaller teams. I know one thing for sure though, if John Paxson decides to limit Noah’s minutes, and Thibs goes over that limit, ain’t no way Paxson’s assaulting Thibs the way he did Del Negro. Unless he wants to get body-slammed, cause Thibs don’t take no sh*t!

Chicago had one of toughest schedules to start the season in the league but now they’re getting some easier games, so if they want Noah to sit out, now’s the time. Drose will step his game up to an even higher level, boozer will step up. They’ll be fine, for some games.

Bulls will be fine, this is a different team with a much better coach and backup center defensively in Asik.

Yeah, that boy Asik is good. He’s been blocking shots left and right and getting a sh*tload of dunks. My main concern with Asik though is that he has a hard time staying on the floor and not getting in foul trouble. Part of it is him learning to deal with the speed and strength of NBA players, and part of it is him always getting the stupid rookie calls.

omer asik is a great player. he could be the best defender if plays +30 minutes.
