Caron Butler: Done for the Season

Even though it was expected, this is still quite terrible news for Caron and his squad. Via Mavs PR: “Caron Butler is out for season, per Mavs per staff. He had surgery to repair ruptured patellar tendon today.”

    this sucks for the mavs but at least they have some depth at the 3, and can go to a tiny but offensively potent 3 guard lineup–with JET playing the role of Microwave 2.0. I still think they can be a force in the West

    Surgery two days after the injury? Someone give Bynum a call and let him know that players are allowed to get surgery and start rehab right away instead of enjoying their vacation before starting rehab.

    This sucks hard. I wanted to see how they’d do this year. They actually looked legit. No Juice, it’s too much even for Dirk to shoulder.

    The Mavs should try and trade for T-mac, he has prooved recently that he can still ball. Check his stats in his last 6, hes been getting minutes cuz of Stuckeys injuries and playing very well.

    @ melvin ely: well played, exceptional. I just got paddle shocked outta my coma. Two things though:
    -Mavs just won playing people who were labeled as scrubs (souljaboy, the cardinal), and Dirk’s due back soon, sooo i like the team’s mindset this season. A lot.
    - Caron’s tweets so soon after a bad injury and surgery are so upbeat. Good positive guy, that one.
    Oh and: HEAL RODDY!
