Polladaday: Dunk Off?

From the sounds of it, both LeBron James and Blake Griffin are bouncing around the idea of entering this year’s dunk contest. If they both participated, who’d come out victorious?

    I’m not the first to say it, but Lebron has lost a little bit of spring….He just has. Thats what 7 years of dang near slave labor will do to you lol. Blake’s got the fresh young legs

    Both of these guys aren’t creative dunkers like say a Old Vince Carter, they are better in game dunkers.

    @Coney cosign, we saw Blake in high school dunk contest….average at best. No more creativity these days. Thinking on it now, can we consider Dwight Howard a dunking legend yet?? 2 incredible shut down contests…I think so

    BRK, what do you mean by no creativity these days? Think about it; what new dunks are there for this guys to do, every dunk has already been tought of and done, so it’s not like they have a wide array of hidden dunks to pull out of the bag. The NBA should allow them to dunk on other people.

    I would probably go with LeBron, because i have seen Blake Griffin in a high school dunk contest and he was not that good. Same goes to LeBron on that one, but if Blake can do atleast 2 times better than his high school dunk contest then he might win. However, LeBron said, that he is not sure yet is he gonna be in the dunk contest.

    Yeah, a dunk contest between these two wouldn’t be anything special, as I’ve said before. Outstanding in-game dunkers, not creative enough to bring it in a dunk contest. I say the same thing about D. Rose

    I’m not sure Lebron has lost his vertical so much as he doesn’t bust it out as much these days. Those jumps have a way of wearing on the body over time, as Blake will eventually find out. I give this to Lebron because he’s more creative than people give him credit for, although sadly I doubt we’ll ever see these two go head-to-head in a dunk contest.

    Gotta agree with the Vincsanity mentions. Blake is vicious but still stiff, just like queen James. Not creative.

    what more creativity do you expect from them in games ? You dont always have space or the energy to pull of huge windmills in games or anything . Would be an awesome dunk contest with these two .
