Andre Miller: Blake Griffin’s No All-Star

by Marcel Mutoni@marcel_mutoni

When the All-Star reserves were announced last night, fans and media began complaining en masse about who was snubbed and those that supposedly did not deserve to be All-Stars this season. NBA players, on the other hand, took a much more diplomatic approach to things.

Well, most of them anyway.

Andre Miller lamented teammate LaMarcus Aldridge’s exclusion from the All-Star game, and used the opportunity to bash Blake Griffin and the hype that surrounds the explosive rookie. But, um, Andre Miller is no hater according to Andre Miller.

The Oregonian brings us the quotes:

When told Aldridge did not make the team, Miller cursed. “It’s all publicity and hype,’’ Miller said. “The league don’t appreciate the blue collar workers. They don’t appreciate that. They make their money off the high-flyers … That’s a slap in the face to LA.’’

What particularly irked Miller, who is in his 12th NBA season, is the selection of Griffin, the Clippers rookie. Griffin is averaging 23.0 points and 12.7 rebounds. “They are putting this guy on every ESPN highlight. Yeah, it’s cool because fans want to see that, but you isolate him from his team,’’ Miller said. “Especially … he ain’t made nobody better. It’s basically his rookie year, as an All-Star? LeBron James didn’t make an All-Star team as a rookie.’’

“LA was supposed to make it. He was supposed to make it,’’ Miller continued. “We have a better record than those guys (the 19-29 Clippers), and LA is putting up just as good numbers. Now, you are not goin’ to see a lot of highlights – Blake Griffin highlights and stuff like that – but they are giving these young guys too much respect. Too much respect to the young guys. It’s good for him personally; I’m not no hater. But I am biased toward my teammate. No. 1, we have better record, and No. 2, (Aldridge) is just as good and he has paid his dues.’’

Miller and Griffin of course have history — the two got into a highly amusing shoving match two months ago, for which ‘Dre received a suspension.

Andre Miller is right to a degree. There is a tremendous amount of hype around the Blake Griffin Show, but here’s the thing: it’s totally deserved. Despite the discrepancy in team records between the Blazers and Clippers, there’s absolutely no way LaMarcus Aldridge should be an All-Star over Blake.

Stop hating, Andre Miller.

no, he is not putting up as good of numbers. blake has more points, rebounds, assists. not sure bout blocks and steals. ur an idiot if u think blake is not an all star

  • reald1

U gotta respect the run the clippers made after a horrible start he’s a rookie averaging 23 and 12.7

  • apeman

I agree LA should have made it… but I don’t think fans would approve of an all-star game without one of the most exiting players in the league

and Griffin most definetly deserves to go

  • http://www.slamonline.com Slick Ric

I understand him, He probably was out line of line but people wanna talk about K Loves team record but Blakes team is 10 games under .500 which is not respectable either.

  • reald1

Aldrige’s numbers just started to go up, but he still deserves an all-star nod, if not less then the same degree as blake and love.

  • marc

As soon as I saw this I automatically thought of when Andre miller pushed Blake. lol

  • http://nba.com EJ

    Andre Miller is gay.

  • Dave

Kevin love should have been on instead of Tim Duncan…13 & 9 vs 21 & 15…isn t it about individual achievement then team record?

  • http://www.kb24.com The Seed

Miller is right. Blake could do his thing in the Rookie/Sophmore game, which brings more viewers. I would have loved to see LA or LO over Griffin. Griffin is a rookie and its not like his team is going to make the playoffs or get over .500. ESPN and media has hyped him, great dunks and skill he does have, but LA is a talent to. Also LO has earned his due. Lakers are second best record team in the West. Blake is in the Slam Dunk, Rookie Game and All Star game. COME ON. I am glad Miller is speaking up, because Blake is an exciting player to watch, but he is not an All Star right now. Too many other deserving players. BOOK IT!!

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

As I said yesterday, Andre Miller is gangster.

  • tRay

    @Dave
not according to dumb a$$ Kenny Smith

  • First & Foremost

    Without reading the article…
    DEM SOUNDS LIKES FIGHTINS WORDS!!!

  • Stepfan

If Blake Griffin is an all-star so is kevin love. That kid deserves it.

  • http://bulls.com airs

In a other news, Andre Miller’s No All Star.

  • JTaylor21

Is he right or is he right? I mean BGriff is having a great year and all but people are acting like he’s having the greatest rook season ever, hell TD had a way better rook year because he actually played D. But hey the all-star game has become a popularity contest, which is why guys like LA, Ellis, and KLove get no love.

  • http://twitter.com/BLK_Philosopher BLK_Philosopher

the all-star game is just a show for the fans…all the highflyers, highlight reel, and flashy players are suppose to be in it…no one wants to see a “better basketball” tape

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

LA deserved a spot too….no doubt….but this isn’t surprising. Dude’s a monster…a rookie monster…and it’s in his hometown team’s city. What better way to introduce Griffin to the NBA masses that haven’t seen too much of him ,game-wise, then having him in the league’s showcase game.

  • I Dont Concur

Blake is this decades Vince Carter. No doubt Lamarcus is doing his thing this year. But im trying to see somebody get tea bagged at the all star game.

  • I Dont Concur

@jtaylor21 Blake is on tract to have one of the best rookie seasons ever.

  • http://MGHardie.com MG

Andre Miller has inadvertantly shown his ignorance.

  • KING

Kevin love>blake griffin and I hate kevin love

  • tRay

    @Why?

  • http://slamonline.com The Black Rick Kamla

lets understand the standpoint of a veteran first. Personally, play-wise its easy to argue that both Kevin Love and Lamarcus Aldrdige should’ve finished ahead of him. Personally I don’t know why Tim Duncan made the reserves…but you gotta realize there is a balance, oft-crossed, between the guys we feel ‘deserve’ an All-Star nod, and the guys who the fans want to see in an All-Star game

  • http://www.fiba.com Darksaber

So since he’s “not no hater”, he really is one, right?

  • bashmo

Blake Griffin WILL be voted in to start next year. I guarantee it.

  • taborrr

Dre talking mess!lol. LA deserved a spot for how he has stepped up in the Blazers injury plagued season. Blake is already in the Rookie game, and he has plenty of years left to make All Star games.

  • Red Star

Are you joshing me? Of course Blake “The Beast” Griffin should be in the All Star game. That being said so should Kevin Love!!! What is Andre’s issue with Blake anyways?

  • Martey

somebody’s getting dunked on next clippers-blazers game

  • http://nobulljive.com/ Enigmatic

@JTaylor – and Duncan was in the ASG as a rookie too, so?
Speaking of Duncan, I got mad respect for him, but Miller should be mad he was in, not Griffin.
Duncan is not putting up all-star numbers this year, he got in only based on his team having the best record, him being the leader on that team, and his past achievements.

  • http://jayemmbee23.tumblr.com Clutch Performer

maybe dre is right but the nba wants ratings and the people wanna see high flyers, no grinders, blue collars and rebounders, during the regular season and mvp nomination and playoffs those are appreciated but during an all star its about flash rather than substance

  • HAMMER

It sucks 2 hear this from andre. And I have 2 contradict him. Its not all about exitement and spectacular plays that make u an all-star. If I recall correctly, Tim Duncan made the all-star team as a rook. And he’s Mr. Fundamentals. Both lamarcus and blake deserve 2 b all-stars tho

  • Blaspemy

And with that, the pendulum will swing, from adoration from the fans to scorn. Its only a matter of time before this guy is as hated as Kobe or Lebron.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

Do people think that “Who is the better player?” should decide who makes the all-star team, or should it just be about who has the better stats?
I think that’s an interesting point and it probably is the reason why Duncan made it and these other cats didn’t. Lots of coaches probably still feel Duncan is the better overall player.

  • Clipperfan

It’s not a lifetime achievement award, it’s an all-star selection. BG is an all-star regardless of being a rookie. The biggest snub is Kevin Love! It will be interesting to see what Andre says when the commissioner doesn’t select Aldridge either!

  • Cizzo

Who gives a an eff about one game Iknow it’s a matter of respect… But this should only be motivation for LA to wreck the League and make everybody say “he should of been an all-star”….. future quotes…..

  • Cizzo

And if you don’t have any “market value” then you just won’t appeall to the the BBall masses… Blake is the future and has a very string pressence… Abd because Blake is in the Allstar game is not the reason LAmarcus is not it’s simply is not Blake fault…… I bet if you ask LA I bet he won’t care at all!!!!!!

  • The Fresh Prince of Nsam

Great point Allenp, I will personnaly take TD, BG and even LO over LA and KL, in my opinion, they are better players.
All of KL stats don’t help his team win or make his teammates better. It should matter, even if it’s 4 a small proportion.
If u r that good, it should reflect on ur team results (c LBJ & CLE).

  • pioms

    What a hater.

“The league don’t appreciate the blue collar workers.”

What do you think Griffin does? That boy works harder than any player in the league, especially Aldridge. Aldridge doesn’t exactly hustle.

“…he ain’t made nobody better. It’s basically his rookie year, as an All-Star?”

The Clips just finished winning 9 in a row at home (Clippers record) He made the franchise better!

He’s made Baron Davis better. DeAndre Jordan better. Eric Gordon is getting 24 a game, because of the attention Griffin gets from defenders.

And most importantly he’s taken the Lakers town and turned it in to a Clippers town.

Clips are the only team to beat Chicago, Lakers, Miami, New Orleans and OKC.

That’s not better? That’s everything an ALL STAR is and it’s happening because of Blake.

  • http://klatschendom.wordpress.com/ speedy

    It’s a showgame.
Who will bring the better show, LaMarcus or Griffin? We all know the answer. And that is why GRiffin deserves to play in this game.

  • DeeDre

@Enigmatic Thank you! i been saying that the whole time! Duncan is only in because he’s a legend and that he’s one of the top players on the best team

  • pioms

This is the Clippers… the man has taken the spot light away from the world champs.

He’s got 40+ games, is PF that flirts with a triple double almost every night.

PLUS he works harder than any other player in the league.

HE’S THE TOTAL PACKAGE: stats, star power, excitement, he’s a leader… everything an ALL STAR should be. End discussion.

  • toinefan88

Duncan should be sitting out this year. K Love got snubbed big time. He’s leading the league in rebs. Isn’t that an important stat? You’ll never see the leading assist man not make the team.

  • paul

Griffin belongs, partly because the Clippers have gotten better as the season has gone along, which suggests Griffin IS improving the people around him. That said, the hype is very tiresome. I get it that the guy is athletic. Got that the first time he was hyped, the second time, the third time, the hundredth time…

but the one Miller should be complaining about, possibly, is Duncan.

  • Monday

Stop talking about records. What the hell should that have to do with the All-Star game.

  • MusketeerX

I think what people forget is that the All-Star game is about the fans… not about the players. Love LA. He is is on my fantasy team and kicking butt for me, but Blake Griffin is the most exciting player in the NBA. There is a reason he is on ESPN every night. That is what people want to see in the All-Star game. He should be there just for those dunks — not to mention his stat line and the recent success of the Clippers.

  • http://sdfklf.com Jukai

I really don’t like the rookie argument. Blake Griffin is an older dude, his rookie season is a lot later than most players. Lebron’s rookie season (when he didn’t make it) was technically his freshmen year of college. Rose and Durants (when they didn’t make it) were technically their sophomore year of college. For Blake, his rookie season is technically his senior year of college. He’s older and more polished than previous superstars who came in as a rookie, and that’s why he made it. I mean, he pretty much had nothing but a year of training to prepare for the NBA!

  • Blaspemy

Trailblazer better watch that ass. The Clips are making the playoffs. They’ll make it on Blakes hydraulics.

  • dako24

Okay my two cents, THE SEED is an idiot. Book that moron. Blake Griffin, is one of the top 3 PF’s in the game today. He is 21 years old and is making these grown men look less talented than him. It’s the same way you all hyped up LeBron except Blakes not that big of a baby. You can build a team around this kid next year. He and Kevin Durant will take over the league. Get it right man and love the game. Andre Miller isn’t even that good and neither is LaMarcus Aldridge. His numbers just started to go up. If he wanted in he had years to perform before it. Blake came in, took care of business, and earned his salt. Give him his due. He’s a manchild.

  • tavoris

Blake Griffin is young enuf 2 b a college senior right now.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

Blake is putting up better numbers than Tim Duncan and Alonzo Mourning as a rookie. Nobody since Duncan has put up 20 and 10 as a rookie, and Blake is putting up 23 and 13.
Dude is an all-star, period. So is Love, Aldridge is having a nice year, but it’s not better than either of those guys. He’s still not getting 10 boards a game.

  • http://nobulljive.com/ Enigmatic

@Dako24 – I highly doubt The Seed ever hyped up LeBron. Dude’s one of the biggest LeBron haters on here.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Kevin Love or Blake Griffin… Who is the better player?

  • rob

He’ll make it as a yao replacement! LA in LA 2011. dont worry bout it dre..smh

  • HAMMER

A lot of hateration on Duncan. He’s n the twighlight of his career. This very could possibly b his last all-star game. Just enjoy him while he’s around people. He deserves much more respect than he is getting

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

    Blake Griffin.
    By a landslide.

  • rob

kevin love wont make it because who the hell cares bout the timberwolves? who the hell cares about klove? rebounds? anyone can get those. look at tyson chandler, he gets rebounds but does that get him in? no. the twolves have won only 11 games. does klove play defense? no, not in his vocab. lamurcus aldridge will get in so no need to worry. i wonder how the commish even decides on who gets in. panel of voters?

  • http://slamonline BossTerry

Blazers have no love for Griffen. There was the incident where Miller shoved him to the ground, and in the next game Aldridge threw an (accidental??) elbow to his jaw to stun him long enough to go around him to the basket. Maybe mad that being a big fella, he sat out a year only to return at full-force, unlike our guy.

  • tavoris

co-sign hammer – Duncan is doing a heluva job this year.

  • http://www.boogiewillaims.com Boing Dynasty

Andre Miller, you got a basic game, tell ya b*tch hurry up, we dont wait for trains…

  • http://nba.com EJ

All star games are about entertainment and exciting play, so guys like Duncan, Odom and LA aren’t the best for them. I want to see sick dunks and highlights. People would be so dossapointed if they got Aldridge over Blake in there.

  • bradley

andre miller just lost a fan, btw andre i hope your still not rockin that stupid god damn string around your neck

  • JL

yah as much as I love Duncan’s game, he got in on merit alone and also his team’s record. He should have been left out and LA and kevin love makes it for his spot and yao’s injury spot. but seriously there are lots of deserving players on the west squad this year. East, em… not really. they put 4 celtics on there! and I couldn’t really argue. except bogut for garnett. or josh smith for garnett. But that’s arguable.

  • http://bedotwater.bandcamp.com BE.water

Lamar Odom used to play in the Rucker. there’s no way he wouldnt entertain fans.

  • riggs

andre’s mad cause his girl got a crush on blake

  • horsey

its a popularity contest to make the most exciting show. if people cared about the hard workers or wanted to see defense Rodman would have played in more than 2 all star games.

  • skittles05

    @allenp

Elton Brand avg 20 and 10 i am pretty sure as a rookie as well….BUT BG is most definately an ALLSTAR…there is no way any sane person can disagree with that, any attempt to do so is just being different for difference sake or being a HATER…

  • Omar

Allen P is on point today. The coaches pick the best player as they should.
Duncan > Blake > Aldridge > Love. Yes Duncan is still better than all of those guys. I could understand Blake but how many of y’all is picking LA or KL over Duncan if it were your team cause if you do, you wouldn’t have that job for long.

  • KwamePooh

im kool with duncan and griffin. still respect klove`s strong season…. really dont care bout LA.
@Allenp after duncan elton brand had a 20-10 rookie season

  • Zogs

Well as of RIGHT now K love has officially been named an all star by David Stern as Yao Mings replacement*****

  • KwamePooh

haha now miller has his blue collar guy with klove lol

  • http://nba-point-forward.si.com/ datkid

so much of my comments were deleted…smmfh

  • http://slam brad williams

andre is an idiot, remember the pull down of blake.his respect of blakes work ethic is about as high as his vertical leap!!

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Skittles is right, Brand did put up 20 and 10 as a rook. Damn he was good.

  • http://counterkicks.com Quinned

just watching ESPN they said Griffin had 41 straight double doubles. Lies! he only got 7 reb when they played the wolves last month. Just wanted to spout off about that really pissed me off it was the chick anchor too

  • Archer

Blake is already in the rookie game, so why is he in the all star game too.??….i think thats stupid becuz its taking up a spot for other deserving players…Aldridge, Monta…and Love just made the all star so thats cool……i just don’t think a Rookie should be on the all star team when their in the rookie game…

  • Zogs

Quinned: It was a mix up between love and griffen

  • http://www.need4sheed.com Tarzan Cooper

ZACH RANDOLPH WAS NAMED PLAYER OF THE MONTH AND HAS HIS TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!! IF IT WERENT FOR THE HISTORICALLY HORRIBLE CAVS, THE LWOLVES WOULD BE THE WORST IN THE LEAGUE. TOTAL BS!!!!!!! ZBO SHOULD HAVE MADE IT. FUCCN PLAYER OF THE MONTH!!!!!

  • MikeC.

Hometown bias swings votes almost every year. If there’s a guy on the bubble who is an ASG hometown guy, they tend to get in. David West was an All-Star when the ASG was in New Orleans. Sure, he had solid stats but there were guys with better stats than him that year. It happens. I also think the coaches pick a guy that won’t mind catching splinters. There’s always that veteran guy that plays 8 mins in the first half and he’s done. For years it was Malone in the West and Ewing in the East. The Rasheed was holding down the 8 mins and done for the East. KG seems to be that guy now for the East while T.Robot can do it for the West. Good balance for the younger cats with bouncy legs.

  • MikeC.

Just to clear up a misconception, Blake won’t be playing in the Rookie ASG as he was selected for the big boys’ game. The league doesn’t make players play in both games.

  • Ronald

@allenp: how is Blake griffin putting up better numbers than TD did as a rookie? It’s not just PPG and RPG that counts y’know.

  • Clipperfan

Archer, that has to be the dumbest argument ever! Eff the Rookie game. He’s deserving of the All-Star selection so he should be there. He probably won’t even play in the rook game anyway.

  • http://slamonline.com Ugh

Stars. All-Stars. Not All-NBA. How hard is that to understand?

  • http://gregoden.com roybot

Bottomline is there are way more deserving West players that should be in the ASG than the East. They couldn’t find anyone so they had to put 4 Celtics, and even then I personally dont feel like there are any big East snubs. East should give up 2 spots to the West this year haha

  • Justin

@I dont Concur…Blake Griffin is not this decade’s Vince Carter. He’s this decade’s Shawn Kemp. And team records should absolutely not matter. This game is for what you’ve done as an individual, and Griffin has been an absolute beast. There would be a bigger uproar if he DIDN’T make it

  • GBoy

Blake Griffin does not need to be or deserving of an all star berth. what did he do? just dunk? does he hit a game winner? does he elevate the play of his teammates??? Dre is right, he is just there for the showcase…wait till DRose dunks on his ugly mug… way more west players deserving then the blake show…hahaha!!! pathethic!!!

  • Ivan

    Andre Who????

  • hey

the coaches voted for the reserves, maybe Miller’s coach is one of the many who voted for griffin lol coaches
Griffin had the NBA season high in points & set a franchise record, before lebron topped it the other day

his numbers are climbing as the season progress..

i mean who is the last rookie to average 22+ppg 6+reb 4+ast?? i cant think of anyone else but the great michael jordan

blake is no jordan, but jordan was an all-star his rookie year too, & the bulls didnt have a winning record until his 4th season.

  • tavoris

@ronald-I dont’ even have to look at Duncans stats to know that Griffin is posting higher scoring, rebounding, assist, and FG% than Duncan did his rookie year. The last rook to put up better numbers than Blake Griffin is Shaq.

  • lexluther703

    Andre Miller.. C’MON SON

  • KwamePooh

@gboy 23 ppg 13 rbs, 23 consecutive dd (longest streak by a rook 1986), 2 40+ games the first rook since iverson and the season not even over yet, 47 pts most points scored in a game this season wit durant, and so on…
but right what did he do…
and maybe you shouldnt just watch the highlights of griffin… because he is doing more than just dunking…

  • HAMMER

Can’t believe Love got in over Lamarcus. If it weren’t 4 lamarcus my blazers would be sitting…well…right where Love’s team is sitting. Bottom of the barrel! How the f*ck does a guy (excluding his dub-dubs) get in the all-star game while his team has 11 wins!? Even Love was shocked he got in, or so he says. Still, what a boatload of crap!

  • tavoris

Love isn’t shocked…he can’t be because he was felt snubbed 2 days ago

  • Ronald

@Tavoris: You really should look at the numbers then. 21ppg/12/rpg @55fg% and 2.5bpg with 2.7apg. And y’know. Duncan actually won some games during his rook year.

  • Andrew

@Rob, Stern selects the replacement player/s based on the number of fan votes they received. Love received more fan votes than Aldridge so thats why he was being named for the game.

And Love shocked to be in? Especially after the campaign he came up with to make the all-star team? Please.

  • http://nba-point-forward.si.com/ datkid

I’m actually really glad klove got in…i had like 3 posts talking about how much he deserved it….unfortunately they got deleted. with that said. Blake Griffin absolutely deserves to be in there ahead of Zbo and LA yes they’re putting up great #’s but he’s putting up almost equal #’s AS A ROOKIE. only hall of famers such as duncan and shaq have done that, that’s historic. Plus the ASG is about the fans..and the fans love griffin. personally I hope LA finds his way in there somehow though. That man’s putting his team on his back! (really though if portland’s whole team were healthy they’d destroy everybody). that’s just my opinion though. personally. Zbo should be given almost as much consideration as LA but not as much since he’s got so much more help. Dwest is a good player…but there are just too many good forwards in hte west right now.

  • http://nba-point-forward.si.com/ datkid

oh my god….slam why do keep deleting my comments smmfh

  • http://nba-point-forward.si.com/ datkid

basically griffin is all star bc the fans love him and he’s one of the only rookies capable of putting up a double double right off the bat.that=historic. we all know why klove needed to be in there. and LA should probably be in there as well, because he’s got no help and he’s putting his team on his back. um is zbo in there? bc he should be given the grizzlies record.

  • tavoris

@Ronald-and that is better than 23pts/12.7rb/3.6 ast HOW?
SN-I didn’t say that BG is having a better season than Duncan’s rookie year. I said his numbers were better.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

One of the biggest All-Star snubs in the last 10 years was definitely Al Jefferson back in ’09 I think. 23 and 11… At least Love doesn’t face a similar fate.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

Thx for the info on brand. Didn’t know that.

  • robz

hey adam sandler look alike juz chillax man

  • hey

even Chris Kaman was voted as an all-star last season by the coaches & clippers didn’t have a winning record either

maybe its just because Andre never been.. an all-star & its going to be played in his hometown

  • Ryan

Blake Griffin is definatley worthy of being an all star. Even if Aldridge is making a better impact on his team or working harder or whatever, that’s not what people come to see in the all star game. People come to see the dunks, the crossovers, and all that. Some people were even angry that Kevin Love wasn’t going to be an all star. Sure, he may be an insane rebounder, but is that what you’re going to see in the all star game? No. Blake is completley all star material, and there’s no doubt about it.

  • http://hajrazigic@yahoo.com Weapon E

What up Andre! You dont know because you havent been an all-star!

  • Jack george

Blake deserves to be in the game.but Cmon people look up lamarcus’ stats. He’s killing in a position with a lot of talented guys. He deserved a reserve spot for sure. The one guy I can’t believe made the game was KG. He’s washed. That rite there shows it’s about the super stars…..

  • Kourtney

Okay, LA should have made it. So what blake can jump but La IS SUCH A DYNAMIC

  • Kourtney

player and deserves to be on it. Over Tim Duncan for sure.

  • http://nba.com Maxine Kuykendall

Andre, get over it. If Aldridge has not said anything, then why you? Griffin is new to the game, just as Westbrook and Rose, so I think you have past history to dislike this young guy, right? So shame on you. A “suppose to be” professional NBA player, picking on a rookie in front of the Media. What does that say about you???? Hope you stay in Portland, would hate to have to see you try somewhere else. Did not see you mentioned as one of the top trades??Wonder why??? Attitude maybe???? Jealous maybe????Get over it, you would not have been selected, even if the Coaches had not voted for Griffin. If anyone should complain it should be a 2 time MVP and 7th in the NBA history in assists, Nash, did he complain???NOT. Now this is called showing professionalism, agree????

  • D33

…Miller should know better. NBA is an “entainment” COMPANY, a business that needs to make money. To bring money, they need to entertain people.
I think Griffin is alot more entertaining to watch than ANDRE MILLER. He was already jealous Kobe’s pass to the backboard was chosen to the top ten and not his!
One question though. If he’s been voted to be an all star. He wouldn’t have refused it would he?

I agree with Miller on that, I mean Aldridge makes a difference in wins and losses over the high flying Griffin. He gets to much attention, sure he is fun to watch, he can jump over, wait on top of a car in a dunk contest. Wasn’t impressed by that either. Just goes to show its a popularity contest not based on better or worse. Griffin is a bad dude, I would love to have him on my team. I enjoy watching him on sports center every night throwing down over anybody and everybody. Aldridge however is putting up sick numbers, and winning games. despite his 2 missed free throws last night. Miller should be sticking by his teammate. He is sick.
