Brandon Roy to Return to Action This Week

Well, this is certainly a surprise. The Oregonian reports that BRoy will suit up for the Blazers sometime this week: “Brandon Roy set to return to games this week, maybe v. Toronto and likely vs. Detroit.”

Why is he rushing back to the court just to see himself get injured again? This is L.A. team now. Take the rest of the season off and heal up properly, because he always comes back to early. I want to see brandon roy fully healthy and not draggin his knee along the court. But I doubt that he will ever be fully healthy again.

The Blazer guys were talking about this last night. Will Roy be happy to let Lamarcus be the first option?

Everybody should take a page out of Blake Griffins book. Take the year off. Imagine if Larry Johnson had done that?

@AllBall crazy thing is he might not be the second option on this squad the way Wes Matthews has been playing this season.

I can’t believe the Blazers organisation is letting this happen. I think it’s a dumb move. It’s not like they are a contender this year or something.

who is advising this dumb ass n1gga. Sit yo ass down and let your knee heal.Grant hill and penny need to fly up to portland and slap some since in his head

loooool some of these comments are crazy funny…however I’d like to at least see how he’s doing after a couple games or two…then staff can evaluate whether he can continue or needs to sit out the rest of the season.

B-Roy is imploding…why come back? You aren’t going to push the team to a championship on flat tires and your team is doing fine without you…sheesh.

You forgot to put “in theory” at the end of the headline.

    *Sigh*
Just sit ur ass down for the rest of the season and try to get back as healthy as possible next year…

Lol. If all the SLAM commenters can see the positive side of sitting it out, I wonder why Brandon Roy won’t. Just call it a season man.

Im a life long Blazer fan, and happy about Roy returning, hope he plays limited minutes, and keeps his mouth shut because other guys are playing great without him in the line-up. Let Miller run the show, HE WILL FIND YOU..

Just shut it down B-Roy. seems like he AND the organization are doing everything in thier power to make him the next t-mac. let Aldridge and Mathews continue to blossom then com back next year 110%

  • dsleepy

i hope he reads these comments and just heals.

that comeback in last years playoffs was stupid and rushed, dont do the same here captain!

BRoy is playing wheelchair ball for the blazers , dude got his legs amputated but still wants to come back early!

Roy is paid mega bucks to play, and playing basketball is his job. The fans spend money to see the very best basketball that the Blazers have to offer. So if you ask me, sure they are doing good without him, but are a better team with him. But at the end of the day he isnt paid to sit on a bench when it is becomes obvious that he can play.
