Nuggets to Trade Danilo Gallinari?

Gallo, who’s still wrapping his head around the thought of moving from Gotham to Colorado, may not be long for the Mile High City, reports ESPN: “Denver may also be working on plans for the newly acquired players Danilo Gallinari. League sources [claim] the Nuggets are not expected to keep Gallinari once their three-team trade is completed. The New Jersey Nets may be interested in acquiring the perimeter-shooting forward but the market for the Italian may also include the Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors. The need for time to move Gallinari is why Denver pulled the trigger on the Anthony deal Monday night, rather than get closer to Thursday’s trade deadline to see what else develops, sources said. The Nuggets are not looking to deal Raymond Felton or Wilson Chandler, who were also acquired in the Anthony trade.”

Love to see Gallo in L.A.

  • Migs

I love how the Raptors are always a trade destination when it comes to internationally bred shooters

  • T-Money

Migs: That’s because Americans would rather be in Minneapolis and OK City than in the third biggest city in North America.

Dammit I was hoping the Bulls might be able to snatch up Wilson Chandler.

  • JoeMaMa

The Raptors should go after Wilson Chandler. A Derozan/Chandler wing tandem would be AWESOME, with Special Ed at the 4 and Bayless running the point. Send ‘em Kleiza and Weems!!

  • fruizm

T-Money: 3rd biggest city in North America??? I DONT THINK SO.

  • RunNGun

T-Money: Those destinations just happen to be where the education system is the best and the economy stable.

  • bakers’-dozen

Nuggets already had Weems and Kleiza. They won’t take them back after Kleiza walked (and got injured) and Weems would’nt fit in Karl’s system.

  • JoeMaMa

A man can dream…and I don’t know if Toronto is the 3rd biggest, but in terms of health care/education/cleanliness/diversity/opportunity/low crime it’s #1.

Actually we (Toronto) are 5th largest city in North America, not bad top 5

But most big name american born players are too ignorant to see past that its canada and its cold part ,

  • matthew

TDOT is the fourth biggest city in N.America (if we are just talking USA & CANADA). 1.NYC2.LA3.CHI4.TDOT BUT tdot and chicago are pretty close in terms of size and population.

Clipper can really use Gallinari. Though he’s a perimeter shooter but he plays tough.

JoeMaMa, that sounds enticing but I the Nugz seem like they want to keep Chandler. More likely to get Gallo.

  • Drew

PLEASE TRADE GALLO TO THE CLIPPERS!!

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

doubt they trade Gallo, whoever wants him would have to give up a bunch, he was the best player they got back for Carmelo Anthony. lol, just a 1st round pick from the Clippers sounds absolutely absurd

  • fruizm

i know this is not a geography article but i just want to remind you that mexico is also in north america and mexico city is the largest/biggest city in north america!

  • http://nobulljive.com/ Enigmatic

    In terms of population, it’s
    1. Mexico City
    2. New York City
    3. Los Angeles
    4. Chicago
    5. Toronto

  • bakers’-dozen

Word in Denver is Gallo going for a 2012 unprotected first rounder from Minny.

  • dsleepy

    lol at “Special Ed”

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Most Americans think of Toronto somewhere between Minnesota and Utah.

  • Jose

Why not deal Felton?! I mean Lawson seems deserving of a starting gig, unless they bench Felton.
Gallo with DeAndre,Griffin,Gordan,Bledsoe, would look very Nice!!!
