Chris Bosh Not a Fan of Kobe Bryant’s Extra Shooting in Miami

Bosh tells 790 The Ticket in Miami that it’s OK to cry after tough losses, and that the Heat should’ve shut the lights off on Kobe Bryant during his highly-publicized extra shooting session. From SRI: “On the reaction around the league to Heat players crying in the locker room: ‘Any player who says they haven’t cried over basketball, they’re lying … It’s emotions. That don’t make you weak. It doesn’t make you weak as a man or as a player. That just shows how bad you want to win. It really doesn’t matter at the end of the day.’ On Kobe Bryant shooting for an extra 90 minutes on the Miami floor: ‘I have no problem with guys wanting to get better, but if you think that any of us were going to be able to shoot on the Staples Center court for 90 minutes, you would be totally mistaken. I don’t think they should have allowed him to do that … We should’ve shut the lights off.’”

@jrok – You can easily coast if you’re talented enough, players do it all the time.

Bosh who’s been revealed as a fake all-star this season, and somehow has 6 all-star appearances under his belt at age 27 is actually right about this. Staples Center wouldn’t let Dirk, Allen, Ginobli, or anyone they might face in the playoffs take extra shooting after the freaking game.

Now about crying after a regular season game, that’s pretty pathetic. In the playoffs, he’s going to look even worse(think about his first time there as a fake superstar.) He had games where he shot 5 for 17, 3 for 10, 5 for 12, 3 for 11 and finally taking shots went 8 out of 22! He was also out-rebounded by Kidd, and both Calderon and Ford had to both take 20 plus shots in a game because of Bosh’s fear.

Take away one 39 point game where he went 16-26, and for his career he shoots shooting at a clip of 40 percent. And brings 18.6 ppg…

They didn’t turn the lights off because they were witness to greatness. They got to watch a player they will be telling their grand children about! IF the Heat can get to the finals, then Bosh will get to lose to one of the greatest to ever play the game.

I was right in a previous post, Kobe playing “mind games”….Phil acting as if he was bothered, saying he would have preferred Kobe get some extra rest. Kobe shot in that arena, as if it were his own. The Miami Heat will jump each time they hear a ball bounce in that arena. Kobe made his point. He did it by himself. Not the three Amigos….Not Jordan, Pippen and Rodman…by HIMSELF.

    Bosh is all mouth

Bosh is the biggest loser in NBA. He’s in Miami w/ a neanderthal swag. Dullest dude in the league. & did anyone see his maxim photoshoot thing on here?

  • Miami’s Own

What needs to happen is that opinions that would cause conflict shouldn’t even be published. Kobe is by far better than Chris Bosh. But the honest truth is even if he finds his stroke on the heat’s floor, it doesn’t mean that there will be an advantage. Shooting by yourself and shooting with contact defense are two completely different stories. That being said I rest my case.
