Deron Williams’ Season Could be Over

DWill could have played his last game this season (or ever) for the Nets. From the Star-Ledger): “The Nets are well aware of the pain in Deron Williams’ right wrist, and have been trying to manage the situation and nurse him through to the end of the season. But after Williams’ wrist took another jarring blow tonight, coach Avery Johnson said the team is going to have to re-evaluate its position on his status. ‘I don’t think we can continue every game at this rate,’ Johnson said after the Nets dropped their second straight, a 110-95 decision to the Bucks at the Bradley Center.”

    Man that sucks.
What a crappy year it’s been for Deron.
You start out without Boozer, Brewer and Korver.
You lose your HOF coach and get blamed for it.
You get traded to a crappy team.
You get injured and might miss the rest of the season.

as a jazz fan i’ve always loved d-will & still do regardless of the trade and the stuff that happened with the organization (note: i would have been frustrated at the direction of team, too).

a lot of us here in utah don’t want to be happy about him shutting it down for the season, but are still super relieved for draft purposes because we have the nets’ pick coming up.

so yeah, this season has been ridiculous. i wish he hadn’t been traded but what’s done is done. the jazz radio team thinks he wants to be a clipper after the nets deal is done. blake and d-will is a good pair.

Ever? He’ll play next season for the Nets..haters! and he’ll probably be there for a couple years too hate to tell ya. Go worry about where CP3 Is going to play in a couple of years.

Dwill is signed through next season, no? Sit him and hope for a better draft pick. NJ could use it.

He might be done as a Net if he sits out the rest of this year because next season might be wiped out due to a lockout. Just speculation about his future.

If its going to affect his play in the future then its better for him to sit out as long as he has to.
