Post Up: Watch This

Heat go up 2-0; Thunder even up series with Grizz.

Miami 102, Boston 91

This is what happens when two of the best basketball players on the planet stop being polite and start getting real. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combined for 63 points to lead Miami to a 102-91 game 2 win. More than just a 2-0 advantage, Miami’s performance showed just how scary good Bron and Wade can be on both sides of the ball when they’re rolling.

After a dozen or go highlight reel plays, it was Miami’s final one that was the most telling. With Miami up 9 and 30 seconds left, KG rose for a short shot. Only problem was that Bron rose higher, hung longer and spiked KG’s shot into oblivion. In the scheme of things, that potential bucket from Garnett would’ve meant little. The block on the other hand was a harsh reminder of how far apart these two teams are athletically and none of that trademark ubuntu/bullying/Celtic mystique will make KG’s knees feel like its 2001 again.

The scarier part for Boston is that beyond the YouTube stuff, Miami out executed them. The Heat got to the basket at will—in both transition and the halfcourt—they made the right pass and played excellent defense. Miami outhustled Boston all game and stood ready to pounce on their smallest slip up. In the fourth, after Boston tied it at 80, Miami went on a 14-0 run over the next four minutes to put this one away.

For the C’s, Rondo led, but not many followed. R-Double had 20 points and 12 assists, but no other Celtic could find a rhythm offensively. Boston’s Big Three combined for just 36 points; in other words just one more point than LeBron got all by himself. Facing its first 0-2 deficit in their Big Three era, Boston’s search for answers begins now. Otherwise this guy could be in for quite a rough summer. —Jonathan Evans

Oklahoma City 111, Memphis 102

Oklahoma City took a step towards fully avenging their opening-game loss with a strong Game 2 win. Apart from the obvious (the fact that they won), it was a reversal of the opener in the truest sense: They got off to a great start, there was terrific production from the bench, and they held Memphis’ suddenly destructive big men tandem of Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol to poor shooting from the field.

It took James Harden exactly four minutes and 29 seconds to exceed his Game 1 total of 5 points; he finished with 21 and held the fort alongside Eric Maynor for a seven minute stretch in the fourth where the Thunder appeared galvanized and with Scotty Brooks sitting Durant and Westbrook. Harden is something of a barometer for the Thunder—when he scores big as that third scorer OKC is a difficult team to beat.

Durant had 26 and the Thunder got 39 points from its point guards, with Westbrook finishing with 24 and Maynor 15, which came especially in handy considering the lack of production from the remaining starters.

Memphis was for the most part lackluster outside of a late run that doubled as scoreboard dressing. Randolph went 2 of 13 from the field while Gasol was just 3 of 9. Adorers of traditional points guards would say Mike Conley arguably outplayed Westbrook for the second straight game; he had 24 and 8 assists and there’s no denying the growth in his game.

The Grizzlies have been here before—heading home with a series tied. They responded by crushing the Spurs in two straight, effectively putting them on the ropes. Oklahoma City hopes to avoid the same fate. This series now has permission to start. —Todd Spehr

It’s a shame that the Heat can’t beat the Celtics.

    “jews just wanna have fun”

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Shoutout to the man, Bryan Crawford, who is steadfast in his stance that the Heat can’t get past the second round. See you in about 12 days, son!

  • Benn0

bumboy with the first comment – celtics will come back, and when they do i will put it how j smoove put it – “in your face, no really in your face”

  • http://www.slamonline.com James the Balla

Miami played great. Boston may get this series to 6 or 7 games, but with the Heat playing like they did last night, the Celtics cannot win. Two big games tonight. Whoever wins game two of both series tonight will go on to take the whole series. That’s my prediction.

  • Benn0

I can’t stand smug heat fans. your just a bunch of closet fans, and when this lebron & wade era ends, i know that at least 70% of supposed heat fans, will put away their lebron jersey, and wait for the next time they have a chance. CELTICS rule!

Hate away….I laugh at your loser fandom each time I read your jealous comments.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Remember how all of you morons said that Wade and Lebron can’t play together…..so do I. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • http://www.slamonline.com Jahmai

Miami is just too good right now, their defense is just crazy, Boston rarely saw the light of day. Dwade and LeBron are just killing it now.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Let me stop….you guys embarrassed yourselves already to last a lifetime already…I fully expect the Celts to win Game 3 with 3 days of rest…but to be closed out in 5 since the series shifts to a 1 day off between game schedule for the rest of the series. That benefits the younger Heat squad and the Celts will run out of steam.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Jahmai

Damn Eboy calm down man, this series is not over, yet.

  • Boi

waiting for the celtics fans to mention shaq “saving the series”

  • Mvp23100

The celts are getting punked out there offensively and defensively like I’ve said nobody can stop these 3 when it’s win or go home

  • Mvp23100

And if they get past Boston and Chicago can get past Atlanta they will embarrass the Bulls

  • eyal

I was rooting for the heat last night but DAMN joey crawford needs to find a day job!

  • DNz15′s

What was EBOY talking about with his first comment??… Heat beat the C’s yesterday… 102-91… they’re up 2-0…

  • http://www.slamonline.com James the Balla

DNz with the great job picking up on Eboys sarcasm.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    What’s up Big Balla James!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, once again, our brethren of humanity, we all shall feel a great sense of good fortune, AND gratitude, for The King and his men are treading along the plains, destroying mortal and feeble opposition. Annihilating and devouring while on the quest for the gold. The booty. The… treasure. The RING.
Again, feel fortunate, gentiles and peasants, (I don’t really think anyone up here is a peasant) as we bare witness to the unprecedented greatness OF The King. The one whose game is like that of something unnatural. The one whose game excites the masses. The one who garners the attention and awe of the entire basketball populous. Unheard of scrutiny.
Who in the Game right now, AT this very moment in the existence of basketball is better than King James? While I await in futility for an answer from the good brethren sheep, I will listen to the beautiful, deafening sound of… silence.
We, folks, are on basketball holy ground.
Even if The King doesn’t win. lol

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Yes, I’m well aware that the series is not over, Jahmai, but what IS over is the Celtics mystique and their “impenetrable” D. It’s a level playing field now. Starting out 0-3 against the Celts this season doesn’t even seem applicable now, does it?

  • Fat Lever

Hahahaha, sarcasm is lost on some people.

A sweep wouldn’t surprise me. PP is already readying his excuse. Oooh, I hurt my foot.

Eboy, one thing I will say though, Lebron saying that he got rid of his powder toss because it’s all about business… sooo was he not taking the last 8 years seriously? Or does he mean business as in he is thinking about opening up a Tim Hortons?

  • http://Slamonline.com Caboose

Anybody else think that Westbrook could be a potential problem for the Thunder moving forward? I mean, good god, his shot selection is about as bad as a young Kobe. Except Russ makes less. I love the kid but he just shoots way too much.

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

    Fat Lever:
Man, if you only knew. I was blaring some string harps on my c.d. player as I typed that up.

  • J-MAC

The Celtics look OLD! It really showed on the that block Lebron had on him…KG couldnt get that lift he once had. Not to take anything away from the Heat but this is not the same Celtics from last year and sure as hell not the team from 08. PP KG and Ray are like 7-10 yrs older then then the Heat big 3 and it really shows. Sorry Boston I think that window is pretty much shut.

  • Mike From Spain

It looks more and more like the Heat are coming out of the East… as little as I like them I have to admit that they look like Eastern Conference champions.

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

    Nah, just playin’…

  • http://google c_cantrell

    ^Caboose..
You don’t watch enough Thunder games to fully understand what your talking about. Westbrook will be fine.

  • EWeezy

In the end athleticism wins the day. The celtics need to channel the inner Lebron and get some tempo and intensity in their game. Kevin Garnett can’t do everything by himself.

  • http://slamonline.com AllBall

The referees in MIA were fine, the Heat are just a better team right now.
Now, the referees in OKC were terrible. I like how they start to let them play physical at both ends, then start calling everything on Memphis whilst continuing to let OKC get away with a lot of contact.
Phil, Brons game was not THAT GOOD last night. Now, if you did not realise that Miami were better until last night, I can forgive your enthusiasm.
AllBall Posted: Apr.11 at 1:06 pm
Oh, and the Heat punched Boston straight in the mouth last night. Boston looked like the past its prime fighter, whilst the Heat looked like the hungry up and coming contender.
That’s kind of the blueprint for how this series has gone so far.

  • http://www.fiba.com Darksaber

May the 4th be with y’all.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

I read somewhere that the Heat looked like Buster Douglas after he was knocked down by Mike Tyson, but then got back up and knew he could stand toe to toe with him and finally beat him.

  • http://slamonline.com AllBall

Little debate – Who has the biggest man crush on their respective favourite player? Nominees would me myself and C.P, Jahmai and D Rose, Phil and Bron, Jtaylor and Bron, T-Money and Bron, (Lot of Bron fans). I would vote for me. T-Money would be the dark horse IMO, he doesn’t over rate Bron, but he is noticeably almost always first to jump in at his defence.
    Enigmatic, nbk, Eboy to vote.
This has all been brought on by Philos “Ode to Bron” btw, in case guys were wondering.

Don’t mind me, I’m just ranting.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Cheryl

Oh yeah….you know who has the best +/- rating of all players in the playoffs….by a huge margin? JOEL ANTHONY!!!!!!!!!!! He’s like a +82….I didn’t even know what the f*ck that means…but whatever. STATS ARE FOR PUSSIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • http://slamonline.com AllBall

Well the Heat have the best two players in the series, and as nbk has said all year, that (amongst other things) is what makes the difference in the post season. Talent level.

  • http://pickandroll.tumblr.com/ airs

    CHERYL FTW!

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

That was actually me…not Cheryl….although she would probably agree! SLAM Commenting system….doing it great, like it’s 1998!!!!!

  • http://www.slamonline.com Wayno

To told y’all that the Celts without Perkins weren’t beating Miami. Perk was the defensive anchor on that team, not KG.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Cheryl

yeah, that was a good analogy. This is the year of the up-and-comers. Boston, Lakers, and Spurs all need serious retooling with youngsters if they want to think of themselves as contenders after this season. Memphis, Chicago and the Heat are the new look of the NBA (and dare I mention the Clips? They will be better next year, if their owner doesn’t scru ish up.)

  • showtime

It looking more and more Like No Country 4 Oldmen out there huh… but boston will regroup & miami will relax to win game 3.

  • http://slamonline.com AllBall

That is due to the Heats TERRIBLE starts against Philadelphia.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Cheryl

AllBall….my player man-crush retired in 1998 and then again in 2002. He was also the greatest player of all time. I’m kind of out of the solo love thing….but I do love Dwyane more than Bron on tenure principal.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Cheryl

Paul pierce ankle hurt kg old as hell and oh yeah shaq coming back the savior is here

So, who went back to Boston with the most embarrassment? KG with his “which way did he go George” getting spun around by Dwyane’s full body crossover and his annihilation at the the rim by Bron or Ray having his ankles broke, crumbling to the floor by Dwyane’s three point pullback? I vote KG.

    Monkeyball
He had two even worst games against the Spurs. And he was still the best… Lol.
Nah, like I said during the Spurs series, dude is top five.
I got Dirk, KG and Pau over him, and that’s because of K.G.’s defense and Pau’s overall feel. After that, I think he’s number four right now, with Blake and Aldridge nipping at his heels.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

Bosh and Amare are right near those two as well.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Wayno

Offensively he’s the best…him or Amare anyways.

And Dirk is the best offensively. Don’t sleep on the Diggler.

big Z and Bibby… jeez. Well actually, Check that. BIG Z… this guy has been useless. Bibby has surprised me with his D in game 1. However, how long until spoelstra realises that the starting lineup with big Z and bibby isn’t working? i’d give it till game 5. rofl. The grizz were shafted hard last night. Some of those ridiculous calls… notice how when the refs stopped calling the BS that the grizz almost made a comeback… Expect that series to be a 3-1 MEM lead going back to OKC barring Stern’s minions ruining it.

    I vote AllBall/CP3.
And the Heat are killing the Celtics. It’s almost like they’re toying with them, keeping the games close before saying, “aight, fun’s over, let’s end this”.
Also, yeah, Joey Crawford needs to chill. He either takes himself waaaaaaaay too seriously or he’s just afraid of confrontation cause DAMN, a dude can’t even ask him what time it is without getting T’d up.

this Rigo Gonzalez thing is gonna take some getting used to.
but joey crawford ain’t afraid of confrontation, didn’t he try to pick a fight with tim duncan once? hahah. just an angry little man.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Jahmai

@AllBall, I think there are alot of people who have a ‘man crush’ on Drose, if you love basketball you only need a couple of minutes to realize that Drose is special. Although game 4 of the Pacers series and game 1 in this series haven’t been his best games but I’m sure he’ll step it up and I think it’s fair to expect a moster game from Drose tonight after he holds up that beautiful MVP trophy at the UC.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Lebron is without a doubt the best basketball player in the league right now! Wow Heat are looking impressive. Scary ass looking squad and with a key piece such as Udonis Haslem returning, Miami can only improve!

  • tRay

A lot people talking sh*t about the Celtics but never underestimate a proven battle tested team. Talk is cheap so Heat fans get ya boasting out now. I hope they win but I’m not so quick to count out the C’s.

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

hahahaha lmao atleast your honest. — did anyone notice how everyone was talking about how Miami is clearly DWades team? I don’t see that at all, I see that LeBron respects him enough to let him take over, but I don’t think Wade is the clear-cut “alpha dog” on the Heat if he is that at all.

For all their sub-par regular season play, them Heats sure look like champs these days. Just saying…

This game yesterday was like a mini version of the Portland game, when Dwade was just destroying the Blazers in the 1st half with LeBron eating some popcorn and then in the 2nd half LeBron goes into ‘I’m the best player in the planet mode’ and ends up dropping 44 on em. Last night, Dwade was hot in the 1st half, I didn’t even notice LeBron was there (except for the alley-oop) and then all of sudden in the 2nd half right after Reggie Miller was questioning wether LeBron was there or not, he goes off and ends up with 35.

in fairness, E, some of these young bucks weren’t born in 1985. They might have just discovered Cheers on DVD in 2010.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

Wanted to go with something you’re familiar with.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

Eboy =Tommy Jefferson from “Harriet’s Law”.

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

Damn gogo (you see what I did there?) is going hard — don’t call him speedy, or he’ll quickly hit you with a comeback (you see what I did there too?)….lol

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

Eboy Posted: May.4 at 8:43 am
Rigo Gonzalez is f*cking horrible. You should be posting on a Univision fanpage with that name.

And I just saw this. GEEZ Cliff, KKK much?
You’re suggesting my REAL NAME is only suitable for a spanish-language channel site? That’s cold man.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

I’ve been Uncle Cliffy for the longest. When I head into Dade County, cats call me C-Murder. I originated that sh*t, not that punk-ass wannabe that rapped on No Limit.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Need to keep up, Speedy….live up to your nickname.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

You know…if some random cat came through and wanted to read the comments for the thoughts of supposed “real” basketball fans, they’d have to think we’re some dumb motherfu*kers.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Nick Tha Quick

Has anyone figured out who Labron is yet?

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

BTW, I hope you were being sarcastic, Speedy. I was fu*king with you about your new screename…because…that’s all it really is to me here. Nothing on the SLAM boards is rooted in reality to me.

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

nothing controversial happened last night. And none of the big market, high volume fan bases won, thus they aren’t here spewing a bunch of ignorance. Its hard to talk basketball with nothing polarizing to talk about….

  • Myung

the 9:26 AM comment probably turned them off before they got down this far, Uncle Cliffy.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

You’re right, nbk, that will all take place tomorrow.

  • izzo

Eboy@2:42: You’re discovering this three years too late.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

    Burn!
Nothing controversial is going to happen tomorrow.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

It’s probably more like 9 years too late, izzo….but thank you. Myung, you are probably right. :)

    LONG… LIVE… THE KING.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

Nah, just shooting the sh*t on here with ya, E.
Come on now, I’d like to think you know me better than that by now.
Or, I guess in your mind, you know “Enigmatic” better than that.

  • Lz – Cphfinest3

Ever since Eboy mentioned his name was Cliff, I have pictured him as a chubbier version of Cliff Clavin, throw in a some tanned leather-skin from the Florida sun and some Heat/MJ gear and that is exactly how I see him. So Enigmatic is now Rigo Gonzalez or what?

  • el_larsen

we should have kept tony allen!and everybody is injured!
    god i m depressed.
    but i still believe.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

Yes, I have now legally changed my name to Rigo Gonzalez. It was between that or Jack Bauer.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

E, would you feel better if I went by Rigo “Enigmatic” Gonzalez?
    That’s a bit much tho…

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

    Rigo Enigzalez

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    Lz, you’re way off.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

    Enigo Gonzmatic

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Speedy Rigo Gonzalez is my final choice.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

I feel like we should have a eulogy for Enigmatic.

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

    RigoMatic Gonzalez.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

    Eboy’s name isn’t “Cliff.”
It’s Clifford. Like the Big Red Dog.

  • Lz – Cphfinest3

Eboy, I was guessing I was way off. Nevertheless that was the image that came to mind whenever reading your posts.

  • T-Money

People say that a series hasnt started until a team loses on its court… but teams that go up 2-0 are 224-14 so far. So basically if the road team doesnt get a split, theyre essentially dunzo. Like the Celts / I love that Reggie was going on and on about how the Celts should send Wade and James to their right hand side like that wpuld actually stop them.

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

I absolutely hate stats like that. You know the majority of teams that go up 2-0 are also 1 seeds playing 8 seeds. How come that is ignored? Would a coach say that stat to his players? No. If the home team is favored and they win then what’s the big deal? Miami has been favored in game 1 and 2 so them winning was to be expected. Boston should be favored in Boston, so them winning should be expected. The series doesn’t start till a home team loses, or game 7 tips off.

  • DeeDre

Direct quote from Rajon Rondo’s Facebook page: We’ve got to take care of game 3. “All the other stuff is in the past.” They WILL be ready. This will NOT be a cakewalk for the Miami Heat. Wade will NOT be this hot throughout the series. Once KG finds his niche that will open up many lanes for Pierce, Rondo and Allen to show their magic instead of just forcing 3 pointers and desperation shots up with the clock winding down. And i absolutely love Jeff Green. Its evident in this series that the Celtics need speed and Perkins just adds to the slow pace even more

  • http://www.facebook.com/joe.l.brewer3 BlackPhantom

Eboy has right to gloat, but I just wanna say if the Celtics end up taking this series, Eboy you are gonna take so much sh*t…

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

Eboy will probably just shrug it off like he did when the Cavs beat the Heat.

  • http://Slamonline.com Datkid

I like rigomatic…nobody cares though lol

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

Ha! I’m down for that Enigmatic eulogy. Who gets the honor of writing it?

  • tonyknorr

wow! are people really saying that dwade broke ray’s ankles. that was just a run of the mill crossover not a killa crossover. see tim hardaway in your bball encyclopedia for a definition of a killa crossover. Heck, ray almost got two recovery steps in before clearly slipping. All the credit goes to the Heat for the 2 big wins so far though, they are really looking scary right now. The saying is true though, “the series does not start until someone wins on the road”. As for the people out there thinking ray got crossed up, well we shall see how sore his p**sy is when he drops 6 threes on the heat next game during a boston win.

  • http://www.nba.com/celtics Byebye

The bulls don’t have the capacity to blow out the hawks no one o. The bench to check jamal Crawford I expect j craw to kill again

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

Sh*t, apparently people do care, datkid, if about a quarter of these damn comments are about my effin’ screen name.

  • T-Money

Nbk: the fact remains. In the first round or in the nba finals. If the road tean doesnt get a split, its over. Of cpurse Doc will not say that to his guys. What Im saying is thay no rational person wpuld bet for boston to win at this point. Being 2-0 isnot just protectinghome court, its almost a ticket to the next round.

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

I think datkid is saying that nobody cares what kind of screenname he likes…

  • Telus Operator

You have to wonder what Allen Iverson is going through right now, watching Memphis’ success. I bet coming off the bench in the postseason doesn’t seem quite as demeaning as failing to make an impact in a smelly country in the middle East.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

The Bulls don’t have the capacity to blow out the Hawks?
    Hmmm…
    Bulls 94, Hawks 76 on March 11th.
    Bulls 114, Hawks 81 March 22nd.
    Damn, you’re right!
What were airs and I thinking?!

  • http://Slamonline.com Datkid

That wasn’t meant to be disrespect rigo…I just meant nobody cares about my opinion. But yeah rigomatic is dope

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

Well its pretty clear Miami is a better team so duh, if you bet against them at this point your semi-retarded. They have homecourt in the series for a reason, they won more games in the regular season. You know what stat is just as relevant as that first 2 games one? what % of series are just flat out won by the higher seed. — my whole point about the Boston series is that it isn’t over, even though a lot of people are just writing it off.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

Datkid – I also wasn’t trying to come at you in my comment.
Merely trying to say I can’t belive me using my real name caused a ruckus.
It sucks trying to get your point across in print without it being misinterpreted though.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Just to p*ss Eboy off, knowing he doesn’t comment after 5 Eastern time, I should switch back to my screen name whenever he’s not here. Ha.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Not sure if my last comment went through so I’ll try again -
Wade, of all people, should know being down 0-2 doesn’t mean you’re out of a series.

  • http://klatschendom.wordpress.com/ Speedy

    where has rigo gone?

  • http://klatschendom.wordpress.com/ Speedy

Thats right rigo but you can’t compare this heat team to the Mavs of ,i think, ’04.
Here you have Lebron, wade and bosh and then the mavs were dirk, terry, howard.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

I know, I’m just merely trying to say that complacency can be a teams’ downfall.
Not saying the Heat are complacent, but they might be too confident being up 2-0.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    Unf$ckwitable my ass.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

^HA! Look who broke his own commenting rule!
    I’m on your mind ain’t I, E?
    Unf★ckwitable™!

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    I see you Speedy.

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

Ayo, E, I’ma hit you up via DM on Twitter in like… 3 hours.
LOL can’t access it before then.
We’ll have some eulogies and sh*t.

F*ck it, maybe I should just go back to Enigmatic.
Or have a contest for me.
Winner who picks the best new handle for me will win a dope prize from the SLAM vault*!

  • http://www.bulls.com Rigo Gonzalez

If they win….ehhh, it’s still up for debate.

  • http://www.nba.com/celtics Byebye

This the playoffs though u can’t count the reg season all the time

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

Man the Mags might take this thing. The lakers playing hard and mavs are still in this thing. I am impressed for real. They can beat the Heat in a series too if it comes to that. That would be am awesome rematch.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

    Darksaber is orgasmic right now

  • http://www.slamonline.com melvin ely

was about to say that allen, someone better check up on him. On james/the seed/lakeshow too for that matter

  • http://Slamonline.com Nbk

    Wtf was that

  • JTaylor21

Damn, the Mavs took it to LA two games in a row on the road. They are playing like the Mavs team that started 24-5 this season. Can’t say I saw that coming.

  • http://www.slamonline.com melvin ely

is it too early to predict broomage in this series? Man if that happens Kobe is gonna go god-mode apesh!t on some cats for real. Phil included.

  • http://Www.fiba.com Darksaber

Naah, Allen. I’m cool, it’s one game at a time, LA is still the cha……..
    Are you KIDDING ME?
    Of course i’m giddy, or-gas-mic.
Gotta go “oooh-saaahh” tonight for fear of pulling an Eboy (suck it, doubters etc.) tomorrow.
    Nicely done, Dallas Mavericks.
    How’s them nuts, Lamar?

  • http://Www.fiba.com Darksaber

PJ just said he’s gonna “flog the team tomorrow”.
    Probably sarcasm, right? Right?
    GO MAVS!

  • http://www.slamonline.com melvin ely

Cubes looks fit to explode, which come to think of it could be an effect of those tighta$$ shirts.

  • http://www.slamonline.com melvin ely

Also Dark, I don’t think that by definition classifies as sarcasm. Sarcasm would be Kobe saying “No I don’t think we’re in trouble AT ALL. Down 0-2 is EXACTLY where we wanted to BE, goshdarnit!”

  • http://Www.fiba.com Darksaber

    Fatalism, maybe?

  • Mike From Spain

WTF??? Lakers down 2-0 against the Mavs? Can’t say I saw that coming.

  • rikson

I told ya Heat in 5! Plus anybody still thinks spoelstra is a bad coach?! He managed to make MIA a defensive-minded team in ONE season…
