Pat Riley Not Breaking Up the Big Three

According to the New York Daily News, the LeBron James-Dwyane Wade-Chris Bosh triumvirate will be intact for the 2011-12 season (assuming there is one): “Not long after LeBron James’ Finals flameout, Miami president Pat Riley has sent word to other league execs: He’s not breaking up his Big Three. That’s too bad – for the rest of the NBA.”

  • MUBWAR

  • EtheKnickFan

awww and here i was just thinkin a trade of wade n bosh for bill walker was a done deal.

In other news, the Kobe Bryant trade talks have cooled-down..

  • http://slamonline.com JL

puleez. the heat are the most talented team just give them some time. they have time not like the celtics who were old. Not too much time since they are in their beginning of their primes, but they do have a window. Boston not so much.

    DUH!

  • rich

they just need lebron to play like a first option. he cant play off the ball and thats why he was useless against dallas when wade had a mismatch. he dont like to cut, post up, spot up or set and use off ball screens, and those are the only off ball activities i know of in the nba so he was just watching wade dribble and taking stupid shots when the defense collapsed and forced a kickout

  • Karley

What the heck? This team is great. They made it to the finals which means they played better than 28 other teams. They didn’t win but nothing is stopping them from a title next year or the years to come. Nobody even thought the three were breaking apart.. Stupid news

  • MavFan

    Bosh + pick/player for Dwight

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

    Obviously…

  • JTaylor21

Forget about the so-called Big 3, Dapper Don needs to worry about shoring about the rest of the lineup.

In other news Allen Iverson didn’t really want to leave the NBA.

  • giogolo

lets see about that 3 years from now..riley.

  • john

yeah like we would take bosh + garbage for dwight lol. lebron straight up…. MIA w/ wade bosh dwight wins like 5 ships in a row

  • http://sadjklff.com Jukai

LOL@John saying “we” as he is clearly a Magic fan… and he’s trying to convince a Lebron for Dwight straight up trade by saying “Miami would win more with Wade/Bosh/Dwight anyway”

  • doyouwantmore

The Heat were one game away from a championship. I love how some people are saying ‘give them time’. Umm…they were right there. They were RIGHT there. Lebron is Karl Malone.

  • alphabetaherculis

Well, Pat just wanted Whitlock from MSN sports to know this……he thinks the big three experiment was a failure after giving it one shot…lmao. This is the same guy who Carlisle said a news conference “who is this guy”. Whitlock asked Carlisle “Yes or No, you did an awesome job of coaching this series?” WTF?

  • MUBWAR

let’s not go there doyouwantmore!! seriously

  • http://www.triplejunearthed.com/dacre Dacre

I’m so very very interested to see who is going to beat the Heat in the finals next year…. please let it be the Utah Jazz….

  • http://www.kb24.com The Seed

Who cares, he has no other choice.

  • giogolo

After the lockout year..the heat is gonna beat themselves..haha

  • afra33

If I were Pat I would pull the trigger on Chris Bosh. He doesn’t really fit in the system. What the Heat need is a real center and a solid point. Bosh is weak down low, he can’t hold his own against bigs. Depending what the Heat can get in return I think it would benefit them tremendously, I’d go for a Steve Nash+Gortat for CB or a Kevin Love+Ricky Rubio for CB.. something in that direction. But keeping the trio in tact will be impossible to add any good players around them because Chris Bosh is a max player but does not really earn all that money in this system.

  • Atsushi

Trade LeBron, Dwight straight up and Miami will be really unstopable..

  • http://www.optimabbc.be Max

@ Do you want more, I think the Heat were 2 games away..
You need 4 wins u know?

  • EtheKnickFan

    Whats Dirk up to nowadays?

  • http://www.arbys.com LilKDub503

Actually, a trade with LeBron for Dwight would actually work. But then who’s going to play point guard? Ahaha!

  • AQWORD

Lobe should go to Cleveland and show everyone how he would do it :-)
Go Lobe ! Go Lobe !

  • dsleepy21

    please stop saying lobe

  • jking6coop

THE MIAMI HEAT NEED TO TRADE MIKE MILLER HES TAKING UP CAP SPACE . TRADE HIM TO………….. PHONIX FOR MICHEAL PIETRUS A GOOD SCORER COULD REALL HELP MIAMI.

  • kudos

Ask him again once the Heat get knocked out in the semi’s next year.

  • LA Huey

And Chicago won’t trade D-Rose, OKC not shopping Durant, Mavs not listening to offers for Dirk…

  • http://slamonline heat4life

the big three got farther than the fakers, the lame ass bulls. and through the celtics. the only problem is that they 4got how to play heat basketball when it counted. they will when next year im am sure of that

  • Motch

What if Denver offered Nene and Felton for Lebron and Haslem… That would be something. Check out the lineup for heat Felton/Wade/Jones/Bosh/Nene. They will kill everyone in the East!
