Agent: Mickael Pietrus Doesn’t Care If Suns Trade Him

Mickael Pietrus recently underwent minor knee surgery, and according to his agent, the Suns can keep or trade Pietrus (which he’s discussed this summer.) Mickael doesn’t really care either way. From the Arizona Republic: “Pietrus rented a house across the street from his rehabilitation center in France. The surgery and follow-up has been under the watch of the French national team, which recommended a scope when Pietrus showed up for the national team training camp in anticipation of playing in the European Championship starting Aug. 31. He will not play in the tournament. Pietrus, 29, missed the final 12 games of the Suns’ regular season after complaining of right knee pain that stemmed from a quadriceps-tendon strain near the knee. Last month, he exercised a player option to return to the Suns next season for a $5.3 million salary. McCandless said the Suns received trade offers for Pietrus in June, including one offer that he was surprised they declined. ‘He’s good with being back in Phoenix or fine to be traded,’ [agent Bill McCandless] said. ‘He just wants to play.’”

If everyone just wanted to play this league would be like the playoffs. Go to a contender, please.

  • Yesse

He seems to be depressed. Having him in the Lakers would be dope.

Suns are gonna absolutely terrible this year

Pietrus is a chucker. Worse then Ron Artest when it comes to shooting ill-advised shots, IDK how any Laker fan could want that. — But Pietrus go to any team you want, us here in Phoenix, we don’t really care what you do either.

this guy is a jacker, all he does is shoot when he gets the ball on offence(im a Suns fan) , thats what kinda made him unusable for us, because offence was big, and he did offer things on defence, but how much he crippled the offence was too big a hoel to be ignored. Thats why Orlando traded him, and thats why Phoenix didnt use him much.

Oh, Another idiotic comment by Seed… We’ll GLADLY Have BArnes back, in return for Pietrus…BOOOK IT!

  • Rainman

nbk has kinda reiterated what i said lol, or actually i restated what he said, as i didnt read his comment lol, but u can see what Suns fans think of him

  • misso

He’ll be very good for the Lakers cause he plays defense & he does take ill advised shots but if he goes there Kobe will straighten him out about the shooting thing

…..I don’t want Pietrus, he’s garbage. I’d rather have Artest than Pietrus

All this anti-Seed backlash is funny to me.
Dude’s just doing what he’s always done with his “book it” thing, as lame as it is.
LOL @ BossTerry though. That “KINDLE IT!!!” was funny.

Pietrus openly said he doesn’t care about the money and just wants to play for a contender. He then accepted his option on his contract to stay in Phoenix for another season… just so that he can get that 5+ million. We don’t want him, he has made it clear he doesn’t want to be here and I really don’t expect him to be on the roster once the next season starts (whenever that may be).

lol @ bossterry, also you cant diss the seed if you spell Offense and Defense with a C.
