Report: NBA Labor Talks Resumed on Tuesday

Per Yahoo! Sports, reps for owners and players secretly resumed NBA labor negotiations yesterday, and may even continue the talks today: “NBA and players resumed talks on Tuesday to try and end the lockout before the cancellation of Christmas games, two sources told Y! Sports. Talks were expected to continue today, sources said, and one league source tells Y!: ‘We should know more by later this evening.’ Derek Fisher isn’t a part of the talks now, sources say.”

This is great. The players and owners will reach a deal soon. I just hope Billy Hunter stays as far away from these negotiations as possible. A lot of the players are starting to see the horrible job he is doing. Its funny how he is willing to decertify the Union and possibly risk the players not getting paid this season, but he still will get his 2.5 mil no matter what.

looks like stephen a might be right. He said a deal is on the horizon within 2 weeks

Same old story….. Same old results……

@ AB he didn’t decertify the union and it seems all the players rep agreed to decline the offer for CBA not just Billy Hunter.

The players nor the owners wants to miss any Christmas games. I expect tthe deal to be done by next Saturday.

i hope you’re right FL23, but the NBA has done nothing but disappoint us the past few weeks

You can take this news and shove it up your butt! Enough with the Lockout news. Nobody cares until the headline reads: “Deal reached.”
In the mean time can we get some updates on real basketball being played overseas, instead of constantly feeding us with bull ish charity games. C’mon SLAM, it’s time to expand your horizons and look at the beautiful game being played around the world.
