Teams ‘Pushing Hardest for Deal’: Lakers, Celtics, Heat, Magic, Suns


Another crucial weekend of NBA labor negotiations is nearly upon us, and here are the teams that reportedly want a deal to get done the most. From ESPN: “Sources identify Miami, Orlando, Phoenix, Boston and the Los Angeles Lakers as the five teams pushing hardest for a deal by close of weekend.”

    @Jukai Nash and Hill are going to retire in two years or something, so the suns are in the same position as the celtics or to a lesser degree the lakers with ageing players

    Because Nash is the only thing keeping them relevant and in the black. Any years of him lost means less revenue and visibility for the Suns.

    I’m guessing the Suns because they’re pretty much in the same position as Orlando with Dwight: Gotta squeeze one more year of juice outta that orange.

    Because Robert Sarver is one of the cheapest owners in the league. But he has Steve Nash, and the organizations cash cow is getting older every day.

    why would any group of particualr teams push for a deal for the weekend… ALL groups, players and owners alike should be crawling toward the finish line at this point. idc if ur the suns or OKC a deal needs to get done PERIOD.
