Lakers, Rockets, Hornets Discussing Chris Paul Trade Again

Just when you thought you were out of the Chris Paul trade madness, the NBA pulls you right back in. Per Yahoo! Sports and SI: “New Orleans, Houston and Lakers are re-engaged in talks to find a new way to complete Chris Paul blockbuster trade, league sources tell Y! On renewed talks for nixed Chris Paul blockbuster: ‘All three teams are engaged,’ one source tells Y! Sports. ‘Not sure if it will work.”

“Sources confirm New Orleans is talking Chris Paul deals again. 3-team deal w/ Lakers, Hou might still have hope, but others discussed too.”

Pau and Lamar must feel like sh*t right now. What can they do different this time so the league won’t stop it again?

  • DuckTape The Mob

Here’s the trade that I would prefer… Pau, Bynum, Blake for Okafor, West, Paul. Probably doesn’t add up. It would be so perfect though. Anyway, one thing is for sure. A trade has to happen. Soon. Odom isn’t coming back. Pau is probably looking at himself in a mirror right now repeating, “your not good enough. you never will be.” Poor dudes getting toyed around like that. NBA, figure your ish out quick.

Yeah the Lakers will most likely have to eat Okafor’s contract. Which is ridiculously stupid because the Hornets need Okafor.

Orl ike ducktape said–sacrifice some draft picks.

The Lakers were apparently planning to get a PF after this move anyway, so I’m not concerned. Let’s just hope it goes through this time. What was the point of all this drama if in the end, Stern caved in and said Demps has the authority deal CP3 (which is what Demps has said recently)?

    Makes no sense.

    The Gentile Peasants have spoken…
    Again.

  • Zabbah

David Stern’s like “You f__ked my son, Paul?!?”

  • Justin

While the Lakers were definitely given a gift with the Gasol trade, this one is not guaranteeing a championship by any stretch of the imagination. Granted, I don’t think the Lakers would be done yet either. Having about $10M under the cap gives them a lot of options to go after Howard among others.

  • dahon

poor Gasol..he led the lakers to 2 rings. i hope the lakers never win a ring in a decade, and heat, too…its the year of the rose.

  • DuckTape MOB

Bulls ain’t goin nowhere with that bi polar ass Boozer

  • Playa

Gasol has never ever LED anyone to anything(besides 1 round of play offs) jeeeez, next thing you know, will be saying D.Fish led lakers to 3 straight finals or something like that.
