Mark Cuban Expects an Openly Gay NBA Player Within 3-5 Years
During a typically bizarre interview with the folks over at TMZ, Mark Cuban broached a number of subjects, including the possibility of a woman coaching NBA dudes, and the chances that an active player comes out of the closet. From USA Today: “Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is a lot of things. Boring is never one of the them. Interviewed by TMZ, he said NBA players want to win so if they had confidence in a woman coach ‘they would go to war with her.’ He also believes there will be an openly gay NBA player in 3-5 years and that it will be ‘more of a media sensation….than a player issue.’”

Can’t ever see a gay guy putting himself through the torment of coming out for the same reasons
On the other hand, imagine a 7’8” transgender guy with a 10 foot wingspan and prominent breasts coming into the league. That would be kind of cool.
That Griner girl comes to mind..
I don’t see any active players coming out anytime soon, but I’m sure more and more retired players are gonna come out over the years.
Oh man, that’s freakin’ funny…
Y’all are killing me
Ha!, ho!, ho!……
