Polladaday: CP3 Trade Winner?

After much hesitation, the NBA finally allowed a trade involving Chris Paul to go through. Who made out the best?

Who got the better deal in the CP3 trade?

This is a good trade for both teams. Hornets got younger and have a nice foundation for the rebuild process; can any NBA team say two top 10 picks in a deep 2012 NBA draft? This is great both long and short term. This was a lot better than what the HEAT or RAPTORS got for LeChoke and Bosh. The Clippers get a game-changing ALL-STAR PG to team up with the BLAKE SHOW. Though they did lose a lot of the young core, they still have solid supporting players; they are under the cap ($14 Million) and will make this up the loss due to the ability to attract free agents with Paul in LA now.

Always the team that gets the superstar. Unless it’s Melo to the Knicks.

Clipper curse is ready to flex it’s muscle by claiming the knees of both Griffin AND Paul. :: sigh ::

Both teams came away with alot. Aminu is a solid young player, Gordon is an all-star, and Kaman is a very good center when healthy. THe 2 draft picks are nice too.

The Paul deal is best for the Clippers but this trade doesn’t make them a contender, people are getting just a little too excited about this. If you think about it Blake (despite being a beast) is not even a top 10 player in the league. Chris Paul who’s game i love, is probably the 3rd best PG in the league and can be a little fragile in terms of injuries. DeAndre Jordan is a leaper pure and simple. My main concern for the clips though, is that nobody can match up defensivly to a Kobe or Lebron or Durant etc etc etc. They will probably be a bottom end playoff team, new kings of LA? I don’t think so clipper nation let’s come back down to earth…

i feel the hornets won that deal, especially if that 1st round pick ends up being high in the draft, theres ALOT of franchise changers in that draft, plus eric gordan and kaman and AFA. The clippers gave up a lot

People assume that Wolves pick will be high but given the roster they’ve put together with a top-5 coach, Minnesota won’t be bottom feeders.
