Derrick Rose on Dwight Howard: ‘Who Wouldn’t Want to Play With Him?’
Never one to openly recruit players to his team, Derrick Rose nevertheless acknowledge that it would be pretty awesome to team up with Dwight Howard (who also said he’s open to the idea.) From the CSN Chicago: “Rose addressed that Chicago Tribune report before facing the Washington Wizards on Monday night: ‘Me and Dwight definitely have a relationship, especially because of adidas. I know our market and the city speaks for itself, if someone was interested to come to the Chicago Bulls,’ Rose said of the Magic’s All-Star center. ‘Dwight, he’s a great player. Who wouldn’t want to play with him, but you never know what’s going to happen.’”

I think Noah, Taj, and Deng for Howard and Richardson is a realistic trade. Even replacing Richardson for Ryan Anderson makes the trade seem a bit unrealistic.
West: Thunder – Clips
East: Heat – Bulls
You’ll Have

Losing Deng would be a much bigger loss. There are deals you can sort of work out in your head to keep Deng, I’m just not sure the realistic expectations of that. Orlando wants a lot for Howard. If they didn’t, he’d be gone already.
Dwight is trying really hard to annoy everybody that has to read these f^ckin stories, and its working. STFU big man, everyday another article about where he wants to play or would play, meanwhile he should be in the gym workin on his footwork and free throws
The pick’n roll with Rose and Howard would be insane.
If Howard wants to win and win now Chicago should be his only choice.
When asked about playing with LeBron summer before last he basically said the same thing.
I’ll even try to find an article if I can to prove it.
.
“But we also have to be professionals, do our jobs, and for the first 15 games we did that. And I don’t think that Dwight’s trade situation made us play so badly these last few games.”
.
You see how he said that’s all anybody talks about? That has nothing to do with Dwight talking.
.
And please, show me where Dwight is adding teams to his list. Hell, find an example of Dwight mentioning wanting to play for another team AT ALL.
.
What you hear about his trade demands are ALWAYS from SOURCES. NEVER from DWIGHT.
Dwight has never publicly expressed an interest in playing for another team that I remember. all those stories have been based on “sources.”
they might be true, but they aren’t him.
At some point, Stan Van Gundy will be getting out of Orlando just like Dwight. This team will tune him out soon enough.
The Bulls technically own the Bobcats’ first round pick, but it is lottery-protected this year, so if the Bobcats did end up with the second overall pick, they would keep the pick.
Pg- Derrick Rose Bench: Pg- Cj Watson, John lucas III
Sg- Ronnie Brewer Sg – Kyle Korver, (We prob will have to get another sg!)
Sf- Luol Deng Sf – Jimmy Butler, Kyle Korver
Pf- Taj Gibson Pf – Brian Scalabrine ( We also have to get another pf!)
Center- D12! Center – Noah or Asik, ( Also another Center)
In my dream scenario, Jabari Parker stays in college until his junior year, then declares for the 2016 NBA Draft, where the Bulls win the lottery thanks to the Bobcats’ pick.
The Bulls take Parker and pair him with (by then) 27 year old fellow Simeon alumni Derrick Rose.
Epic dopeness would ensue…
Soop is still on that Bleacher Report struggle I see…
Also kinda sad that I started to type in “soup” the other day on my iPhone and it kept trying to autocorrect to sooperfadeaway…
Mild compared to some of those before him. But I’m gla I have made an impact on your iPhones autospell system lmao
But he hasn’t demanded one through the media, which was the point. It was reported through “sources” he wanted a trade. I think at first he didn’t want to comment, then he did confirm it.
Anyway, I agree that it seems like he’s been a douche because so many comments have been attributed to him as far as where he wants to play. But to be fair, he’s never said those things. He’s never given the media a list, or brought up another team. He has even asked for the discussions to cease, and only commented to correct certain points.
It seems like he’s being a punk until you actually read the stories and see that people are attributing motives to Dwight based solely on anonymous sources. Those sources may be correct but it’s unfair to blame Dwight for what anonymous sources say.

And again the rest is just semantics based on how sensitive you are.
Fegan tells Wojnarowski that Howard “did not attend a meeting with Nets officials” and tells Mannix that “reports of possible tampering are undeniably false.” He does admit to Bucher that there was a phone conversation involving the Nets and Howard. GO TO BED, BETTER LUCK TOMORROW
“The only thing wrong about Howard calling out his teammates is that he did it publicly. The team is obviously in a mental fragile state of mind during this tough week. Plus, he has enough drama to deal with between the trade demand and reported request for a replacement for current starting point guard Jameer Nelson. It is fine for players to express themselves, but they must be mindful of what they say publicly. Dwight was right for what he said; he just has to say privately in the locker room.”
“The Magic have given us permission to have contact with several teams in order for Dwight to explore his options. I most definitely had contact with the teams I was granted permission. Since we had permission to have contact with several teams the report of possible tampering is undeniably false.”
The saga only grew more strange after Fegan released his statement, as Magic vice president of communications Joel Glass told SI.com that Fegan, though not Howard, would be permitted to discuss trades with the Lakers, Mavericks and Nets. Glass made it clear that the permission was given “going forward” and had not been granted previously.
Earlier in the day, Martins had been more general in his comments to reporters in Orlando. “There aren’t any tampering charges,” he said. “Dwight is under contract with us and our rules in the league are very explicit about when a player is under contract with a team other teams aren’t allowed to contact that player or a representative about them. … If that’s been voided in any way we’ll deal with it to the fullest extent that the NBA’s Constitution allows.”
Howard denied the allegation in an interview with ESPN.com on Friday. “There was no meeting,” he said. “Right now, my plan is to show up to training camp for the Orlando Magic.” Read more: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/sam_amick/12/09/dwight.howard.magic/index.html#ixzz1l6LejD8r
@NBK d!ckhead” unprovoked, is instigating.
So everyone who complained about what Dwight said yesterday better come in here and say the same damn thing. ” Im looking at the man in the mirror, I’m asking him to change his ways, no message coulda been any clearer…………..
different people have different reactions to what dwight has and has not done. y’all see things different despite the fact that you agree on most of the facts. it’s not a big deal.
(i’m in a good mood because I just had a piece of some sort of banana chocolate cupcake that was awesome. awesome i tell you.)
