Dwight Howard Not Opposed to Playing in Chicago With Derrick Rose
There’s been some talk that adidas wouldn’t want its two biggest marketing stars in the NBA, Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose, playing on the same team. According to Howard, that’s simply not true. Reports the Chicago Tribune: “Approached Friday night in New Orleans after a 26-point loss to the Hornets, Howard shared his thoughts on a long-shot trade to the Bulls. ‘If I could play with Derrick right now and God wanted that to happen, it will happen,’ Howard said. ‘It has nothing to do with me not wanting to play with Derrick Rose. I love him. That’s my brother.’ Howard disputed the notion that marketing issues factored into his leaving the Bulls off his initial trade wish list. Both Howard and Rose have contracts with Adidas, and some believe the company doesn’t want two signature players on the same team. ‘It has nothing to do with Adidas,’ Howard said. ‘In fact, Adidas would love that because me and Derrick have the same guy.’”

If Howard wants to contend for a title for years, a 23 year old Rose would be a better partner than a 33 year old Kobe Bryant.
Thibs is a coach who really values playing from the inside out so Howard would get plenty of touches inside.
On the other hand, Orlando isn’t gonna get better players elsewhere unless the Lakers give up both Gasol and Bynum.
I think the Magic would demand Deng and wouldn’t take back Boozer.
I also think they wouldn’t trade Anderson.
So yeah, I think it would be something like Noah, Gibson, Deng and picks for Howard and Turkoglu.
A lineup of Nelson, Richardson, Deng, Anderson and Noah, with Gibson off the bench wouldnt be too bad.
The Bulls would have Rose, Rip, Turkoglu, Boozer and Howard.
Not bad for both teams.
I just think Howard a) wants another superstar on his team so incase the team does go sour, he’s not carrying the load himself.. and b) wants a destination better than Phili.

will you ever just shut the f*ck up? You’re a moron.
@nbk talking to reporters not teams I was typing fast. and hes thrown his team under the bus a number of times, the same type of sh!t TO did to romo, Dwights been unhappy about the situation for awhile now and he could change that by being a presence that demands the ball, not by b!tching but by the work he should be putting in on his game. Ive said it a bunch of times there is a reason that the players and the coach will not defer to him, there is a reason they dont believe in him. and its not gonna change until he changes. “no matter where you go, there you are”
your welcome nbk

Players answer questions about the games they play in. Sometimes, if the team has issues, the player will acknowledge them. The only time it’s an issue is when little pansies like yourself are paying attention. Amazingly enough, these are grown men, words in a press conference about the teams effort during a game they just lost are not going to hurt anyone’s feelings. Unless your a p*ssy.
