Polladaday: Baron Davis?

The Knicks’ struggles are no secret, but many fans believe that Baron Davis’ return to the court will turn them into contenders once again. Will they be proved correct, or is it just wishful thinking?

    what’s back on track mean? Before the season they were supposed to get homecourt in the playoffs, wouldn’t that be “back on track?” — He may help them get to .500 – this is a semantic question.


    B-Diddy is a solid point guard still…He’ll help the Knicks become a much more consistent team at the offensive end. HOWEVER, the Knicks still need to add a some frontcourt depth and a perimeter player. In a perfect world they can pick up both K-Mart and JR Smith. Hell, just adding one of those guys to the team along with a healthy B-Diddy would be huge for the Knicks getting back to winning and grinning.

    Put it this way, he’ll have the Knicks in that 8th spot. That’s far from on track but it’s still a course correction from the Titanic-like route New York is on right now.
