Polladaday: Scoring Leader?

Kevin Durant is the NBA’s scoring leader as of now, but a few guys are very close behind. Who do you think will put in the most points this year?

Who will lead the League in scoring this season?

Got Kobe he’s not giving up the rock

Kobe’s the only one in this group who desperately wants to win that title of scoring champ. But Durant will win it.

    who voted for dwyane wade…

  • robb Posted: Jan.9 at 3:19 pm
Kobe doesn’t desperately want to win that title, it means nothing to him. He will, however, shoot the ball as much as he can because he wants to be a top 3 all time scorer and send MJ to the 4th spot.

Monta Ellis. I´m counting on Monta this year, cause besides steph theres no one else scoring. and steph is hurt most of the time.

WGAF? Scoring crowns are for chuckers. Rings are for Kings.

watch out for barngani he is creepin

  • Caboose Posted: Jan.10 at 9:30 pm
Durant? Really? LeBron has a more refined offensive game and Kobe is healthy. Durant will finish 3rd, tops.

kobe is definitely gunning for it

  • awesome sauce junky Posted: Jan.11 at 7:42 am
Brian Scalabrine is gonna win it for sure.

  • LA Huey Posted: Jan.11 at 2:31 pm
Scal don’t give a eff about crowns, he only plays for rings.

  • nbk Posted: Jan.11 at 4:44 pm
Caboose, you see anyone better suited for 3.5 games a week then Durant? And didn’t he just lead the L for the last 2 years? lol I think “refined” doesn’t really matter. He’s not going up against top defenders, especially top defenders with fresh legs, very often at all. and scoring is all he does

That Greg Oden kid is looking good this year…

    Bargnani lol!

nbk, I just worry that teams are focusing their entire defensive plan on stopping Durant. As we’ve seen, he doesn’t respond great to doubles. I’m not saying he’ll be shut down (he’ll get his 25-27 a night) but LeBron’s scoring will stay north of 28 and Kobe is on a path for revenge. I know Durant has led the league the past few years, but call me crazy, he won’t get the same scoring he did.

durant is a ball hog constantly competing with westbrook to see who can score the most. both d!ckheads. LONG LIVE THE KING!

  • nbk Posted: Jan.12 at 11:03 am
I just wanted to know your train of thought Caboose, I respect your opinion.

    kris humphries

  • Caboose Posted: Jan.12 at 1:11 pm
Thanks nbk. It’s mostly gut feeling and looking at how players are performing so far.

  • nbk Posted: Jan.12 at 1:23 pm
You seem to have a pretty logical gut. I didn’t really think about it that way. I don’t however think Kobe can keep this up. Not with this schedule.

  • Caboose Posted: Jan.12 at 3:20 pm
I’ve learned it’s best not to doubt Kobe, especially when given free reign by his coach. He’ll shoot the Lakers out of some games but he’s gonna keep gunning for those numbers just to “prove doubters wrong.” (Incidentally, the same thing Jordan did…)

  • nbk Posted: Jan.12 at 3:46 pm
I’m operating more under the, he wont physically be able to keep this up.

  • Caboose Posted: Jan.12 at 4:00 pm
I guess the scoring title rests with the Gernan doc then haha

  • nbk Posted: Jan.12 at 4:06 pm
The Lakers refused to allow Bryant to get the same treatment on his wrist. Which seems weird, because his Knee looks so good.

  • Caboose Posted: Jan.12 at 4:25 pm
Really? I didn’t know that…seems odd…But yeah, that knee looks fantastic.

    STAT

  • nbk Posted: Jan.12 at 7:18 pm
Yeah fa real. Like 2 days ago actually.

  • Niyagirlfresh Posted: Jan.12 at 9:28 pm
I want to hope Kobe will win it just for the hell of him keeping people irritated and upset he won’t go away already lol. Honestly As a Kobe Laker fan I know better though, I think it will go to LeBron or Kevin Durant. They’re younger, more endurance, not injured and they can best their opponent because they are quicker and faster. Kobe is going to get tired and winded at some point and now and days he’s been streaky. He started hot last season and went ice damn cold. Field goal percentage low, couldn’t do anything right so we can just leave that alone. It’ll be Durant and LeBron in the end, also one of them will win MVP. LeBron, Kevin, and Derrick Rose are the top 3 because they have a shot at the numero uno seed in their conference.
