Keith Bogans is Mad at the Chicago Bulls for Waiving Him

Keith Bogans, now a member of the New Jersey Nets, faced his former team for the first time since the Chicago Bulls kicked him to the curb. Despite his seething rage, things did not turn out well for Bogans and the Nets last night. From the Bergen Record: “Every time I play them for the rest of my career it’ll give me [something] added,’ said Bogans, who started his first game for the Nets and scored seven points in 20 minutes. Not only did the Bulls dump him — Bogans says he never got a reason — but they held Bogans out of practice for a week during the preseason. The team’s signing of Richard Hamilton made Bogans expendable, and the Bulls waited until the deadline when they would have had to pick up his $1.73 million option for this season to jettison him. ‘That was kind of screwed up,’ Bogans said. ‘But it’s a business, [stuff] happens. … That was kind of like a slap in the face a little bit, but it’s cool.’ Bogans said he’s stopped trying to figure out why the Bulls cut him loose. ‘When you get to the point where you can’t answer … how this happened, why this happened, you just gotta let it go,’ Bogans said. ‘So I’ve pretty much let it go. It’s something that happened to me I can say I learned from in my career and move on.’”

i respect bogans for what he did, yeah it could have been handled a little bit better but if the bulls had won the title last year then he would not be having this conversation. i respect what he did last year and even called him keith jordan temporarily after his 15 point game against the pacers in first round. tough business.

When an organization treats a player like s@#t it’s alllllllllllll good, when an organization(Cavs) get treated like s@#t by a player(Lebron) the hysterical whining rolls on like a stoner with calluses on his fingertips.

Because teams go on national television and announce their intentions as to what they’re going to do with their players right? Don’t be an idiot
