Kyle Lowry to Do Community Service in Battery Case


In order for his battery case to be dismissed, Houston Rockets guard Kyle Lowry must perform some community service duties. Reports the Houston Chronicle: “Rockets guard Kyle Lowry was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and impulse-control counseling stemming from his misdemeanor battery case in Las Vegas. Upon successful completion of those requirements, the case will be dismissed, Clark County Courts spokesperson Mary Ann Price said Thursday. Lowry was accused of throwing a ball at a game official after a game during the lockout. According to court documents, Lowry apologized to the official, InFini Robinson, a former Nevada-Las Vegas and Michigan player, saying ‘I’m sorry. I truly apologize for what I did. I let my emotions get the best of me.’”
