Report: Lakers Considered Allen Iverson?

According to an ESPN.com report, Los Angeles considered Allen Iverson as a candidate to alleviate their backcourt woes: “Allen Iverson, who sources indicated the Lakers had some interest in as long as he was willing to go to the NBA Developmental League for a few weeks first, is not the answer. Hes simply not a point guard. The Lakers are also said to be interested in former Toronto Raptors point guard Rafer Alston, who helped the Orlando Magic reach the NBA Finals in 2009. But who knows if that will materialize into anything?”

Jeremy Lin rips them for 38 on Friday then Calderon torches them for 30 last night! Anybody else think they need some defense at the pg spot? AI ain’t the answer in this case! Let Goudelock play! He’s stronger than Blake, quicker and shoots better than Fisher and Blake! If you wanna keep Fisher for sentimental reasons then fine but he needs to retire NOW! Don’t wait for the end of the season to get exposed in the playoffs! Use the amnesty clause on Metta World Piss or ship him out with Blake and Murphy and see if you can get more than 2 cheerleaders and a hot dog vendor!

AI is still the truth. I understand what everybody is saying about him being washed up after playing how he did with the nuggets and Memphis but honestly I believe that he was trying to fit in there and not how he was in Philly. When he was with Denver and Memphis yu can tell he was. He actually had a good team so why not try to fit in and play as a team. And him coming off the bench is probably a problem for because hes use to starting every game and of course he wants a ring before he retires. He’s determined to win a ring so of course he’s going to be acting the way he does. He wants a name for himself and to not be compared to Jordan, magic and bird. I guarantee that if he came back to the league and they let him play his game he would still be the same AI but hI’m being determined for a ring I think LA could be a good fit. Him and Kobe would do damage. They both are still bigg threats no matter the age. Then Bynum in the paint?? He’s still better then a lot of the starters In the league too. He would bring more space for Kobe and Bynum and mcrobert if they get rid of gasol which they should. I hope he Proves ppl wrong lol. He’s stil the truth and who can stop him or LA if he does go?? nobody lol

@kidvis.. that horse has beaten to death. only an uneducated, misinformed person would actually believe that Iverson didn`t practice on his game. let it go.
