Durant, Westbrook Drop 40 Again, Set Record

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each scored 40 points in Friday’s double-OT win over Minny, making them the first teammates in history to accomplish the feat twice in a season. According to the Elias Sports Bureau: “Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant and guard Russell Westbrook have set a new standard of dynamic-duo performance in the NBA. In an epic double-overtime matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, the two each surpassed the 40-point mark. This was the second time this season that both scored at least 40 points in the same NBA game. The Elias Sports Bureau noted that no pair of teammates had done that previously in NBA history.”

Westbrook is the man, he gets rebounds and assists and actually plays defense. He should have left OKC. BOOK IT!!

  • spicycurry30

@weapon x theyd need to play some defense first

  • Drig

God……people are already comparing them to 23 and 33???? They’ve got a LONG way to go before they get into the best 1-2 punches ever discussion.

  • tim

Kevin Love should be top 5 for MVP. Dude is best PF in the League, since TD is past his prime. a 13 10 game is bad for him, that`s how good he is. CB34 2.0.

  • Drig

TD has a few things to talk over with you tim.

  • IamYOU

Hoping an opposing team’s players die is First World bull*&it. Take a holiday in Syria and learn what wanting someone to die looks like up close, you idiot.
