Report: Dwight Howard Interested in Miami Heat, LA Clippers


The good news is that, very soon, all of these insane Dwight Howard rumors will have to come to an end. Until then … madness! Here’s the latest, via SI: “I’m told Howard prefers going to free agency. Doesn’t want a team he is traded to gutted just to get him. If Howard goes to free agency, throw out the three-team (Dallas, NJ, LAL) list. It’s open season for bidding. LeBron, part II. Howard will have interest in: Clippers and Miami. There are cap issues, but the interest is real.”

    if howard goes to the heat, why even have a season anymore? why not just trade every good player too two teams and just watch them play every day?

    Financially there’s no way he can go to either team so whatever. I don’t like Dwight’s attitude at all he only cares about the damn weather. He should go to Chicago, he’d win a championship there without a doubt. Saying his game and DRose’s game don’t compliment each other is stupid, I would work no doubt.

    @j, it would almost be as if the best players from around the league assembled into two teams from opposite sides of the country and squared off in a battle of the superstars… they could host contests to see which of these superstars are best at certain aspects of the game… they could make a big fanfare out of it.. players could dance with their favorite reality-tv dance squad…

    @la, I’m defending them because the bulls have had significant cap space exactly twice. Once was ten years ago under a different regime and they wiffed. The second time they missed out on three players that had already decided to play together in Miami. The bulls also made the right decision and passed on two overpaid players. They used what money they did have to sign a big name free agent in boozer. And great role players. This team got them to the conference finals. What’s the problem? T money is talking out of his ass. Just because other teams don’t recruit players like dwade doesn’t mean no one wants to go there

    Trade KG and Ray Allen for Dwight. Rondo, Pierce and him would be an awesome fit together and Orlando doesn’t get totally screwed over.
