Video: New Carmelo Anthony ‘BIG’ NBA Commercial

Every free throw is BIG.

We’re sure you’ve been seeing the NBA’s “BIG” commercials, which have ran through the beginning of the Playoffs and will continue to in the coming days. Here’s the newest one, starring Carmelo Anthony and featuring a free throw attempt that might not be as easy as you think. This spot will air during tonight’s Knicks-Heat contest.

    Nice!

Hope Melo shoots 20 free throws tonight.

@orange – I hope Woodson puts in Gadzuric so he can take a flagrant 2 on the refs. At least that way the Knicks will earn the FT arse-pounding they’ll get tonight. I’m predicting a 25 FT disparity in favor of the Heat. I’m not saying NY is losing this series because of the refs. They’d have lost Game 1 by 15-20 anyway, but the refs made sure it was a blowout.

@MikeC I’m not saying we win game one either, but I am saying it’s a competive game, and when I say competitive, it’s not a double digit loss. Bottom line, when the whistle goes against a team that much, and it’s not the same whistle as the other end of the floor, it can take a team out of their defense, and their offensive flow. Then you get frustration fouls and turnovers from trying to force things. Refs play a HUGE role in these playoff games. As for tonight, Melo needs to be a killer, and forget who he’s friends with off the court. I would do whatever it takes to win, and I mean whatever.

Gotta say, these commercials aren’t nearly as good as the ads they did a couple years back (with the piano music).

Good call Dagger. Those were actually quite emotive.

I also hope Carmelo is passive and shoots less then 40% and decides to only jack long jumpers all night long.

I really like Dirk’s BIG commercial, the rest are alright.
