Dirk Nowitzki ‘Would Love’ to Team Up With Deron Williams

While the hoops world awaits Deron Williams’ free agent decision, Dirk Nowitzki can only fantasize about what it’d be like to play with the star point guard. Per ESPN Radio, via SRI: “If the Mavs don’t get Deron Williams what will you think? ‘Oh man it’s tough. We’ll just have to wait and see who we get. I think there are a lot of decisions coming in that we have to make and I think with getting coach [Rick Carlisle] out of the way was great and now we know who is coach for the next four years. I think he did a tremendous job, so that’s already one decision off the books and now we gotta see what’s out there I think it’s hard to comment on that now cause everything could change completely in July. All the free agents probably don’t know what they are doing yet. It’s kind of too early. We’d love to get some great players here and reload. I think Donnie Nelson and Mark Cuban have always made that clear. It’s not good enough for us to play for six or seven seeds in the playoff and get swept in the first round. We always want to play at the top and want to have home court advantage in the first round. That’s something we always take pride in and we gotta bring some players in. We are losing a lot of guys from our team, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens in July. We would love to get a prime time player like D-Will in, but that’s not an our thing right now. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens in July.’”

first off somebody elses name and email appeared here in the name and email box, and I’m the only one who uses the computer.

secondly who wouldn’t wanna team with Deron? I just really hope he stays in BK.

I “would love” to nail Megan Fox. Just thought I would state something obvious.

Nah, Kahn’s going to trade Love for Deron. He wants to force Adelman to trot out a line-up of PG-Barrea, PG-Rubio, PG-Ridnour, PG-Deron, C-Darko.

I wouldn’t mind seeing it either, We need our stars on teams that give them exposure, everybody has forgot about Deron. lol

Dirk and DWill would win at least two championships together.

Dirk would “love” to lower the average age of the Mavs, period.

I’m sure a lot of players would want to team up with Deron.

I wonder how Devin Harris feels these days? Probably not feeling bad.
But since he was railroaded out of town, they’ve won a championship. Amassed some glory. Etc.
Then, they publically endorse Deron Williams coming to town.
Now, during Harris’ railroading, Dirk came out and told everyone about how Harris wouldn’t be allowed to shoot the ball in Dallas, and that’s why he had to go elsewhere.
So, does Dirk have a change of heart, now?
Because, Deron Williams is definitely going to shoot the ball.
    Wherever he is.

    Shut up Dirk

Dirk won is trophy and will not be criticized if Dallas never wins again. Dwill is in a no-win situation going to Dallas, if I were him i’d stay with the Nets and go to Brooklyn – or he can sign with my Bucks for the MLE lol!!!

the people don’t remember the mavs won the championship, they only remember the heat lost in the finals. ouch. somehow i can’t figure out why dirk has changed so much after last year. seems like his tank is empty and needs another tank to fill him up together. that’s not what i remembered who dirk is.
