The owners should do something about it.

they said kd was too weak. they said kg was too weak. they said bosh was too weak.

Is there a conspiracy in the NBA? One has to wonder, after watching the Heat v Celtics game there is undeniable favoritism towards the Heat. When they refer to Miami’s Big 3 do they mean the guys in black pants with whistles. Does Lebron ever foul? Yes though never gets called. Can wade make a shot without getting the and1, No!! OKC or The Spurs better drain all the oxygen out of the arenas so it doesn’t foul Wade.I didn’t know you could use your legs to kick the defender away, Rondo needs to bleed before a foul is called on him. This is coming from someone who doesn’t like the Celtics but like i said you have to wonder

Golden State did ok it seems, can anyway suggest who they might take at 7?

The NBA doesn’t own the hornents anymore the owner of the saints bought the team in Feb

C’mon guys, the Hornets were awarded the #1 pick for basketball reasons.

We know Big, he also payed above market value for it and was given perks directly from the NBA for doing so. Like getting the All Star Game.

I’m happy for Monty, he’s a good coach.

Stern blew up wtc 7 … Book it

  • L Dribble

Did you see when the guy threw the New Orleans card hard against the barrel so Stern would know to pick it…no? Oh, that’s right we didn’t even get to see the lottery. Imagine a national lottery where they just say “the numbers are 10, 11, 35, 34, 65.” Where was this apparatus?: http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRckdlhebhOuCuv4WfVsfdtobXZr56yfkQoEEYELjodBa1f8dvXNg-VL9ha I had a 12 year hiatus of not watching the NBA and watching Miami play off games now is like watching the WWF sometimes. Even Michael Jordan got in foul trouble and averaged between 3 fouls a game in the playoffs. After averaging only 1.5 fouls a game in the reg season, LeBron is averaging 1.8 fouls a game in the playoffs and 0.8 against Indiana. That is unheard of, and watching him play I don’t think it is just because he is great defender. And this isn’t just conspiracy – One statistical analysis found that while he was playing in Cleveland, the likelihood of LeBron’s foul counts occurring with his minutes was less than one in a million. http://www.emptythebench.com/2010/01/26/lebron-james-fouls/ Rant over.

I Love Basketball, I HATE the NBA!!

Glad to see Davis going to the Hornets. I would have hated for him to start his career off in Charlotte, even though I know MJ is pissed. Now, all I need to happen is for the Bobcats to pick Thomas Robinson just so the Cavs can get MKG. And to all these people hating on Davis, you either didn’t watch the games (I say GAMES because some people like to watch Highlight Express and act like they know what’s going on), don’t like Calipari, or just mad because YOUR favorite team went nowhere. If Davis is not a threat offensively, then how do you explain him averaging 14.3 ppg on 60%FG, while shooting not the most, second, third, or fourth, but FIFTH most shots on the team? How do you explain him breaking Shaq’s blocking record and impacting a championship game on blocks, rebounds, assists, and steals alone? You know, they don’t just GIVE Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards away as part of a popularity contest. You have to EARN it, just like Davis EARNED his starting position, EARNED his awards, and EARNED the No.1 lottery pick. He played his role and it worked out for him. Just because you didn’t see him do certain moves or plays doesn’t mean he can’t or won’t be able to do it. It’s not like he was a ball hog that tried to take over and showboat. He sacrificed himself for his team and now he’s getting his just due.

    rigged

Bobcats got Bismack and Tyrus anyways..Robinson won’t fit,MGK or Barnes could work..sleeper pick is Austin Rivers..a playmaker who can get his shot off

  • http://www.kb24.com The Seed

Micheal Kidd-Gilchrist is a better pick for the Bobcats and if I was Hornets I would trade the pick to get Austin Rivers or Kidd-Gilchrist. Hornets don’t need Davis, he might end up being a better Tyson Chandler. Rivers and Kidd-Gilchrist have more upside to me in the NBA.

BK Nets really screwed themselves. If they can’t get Dwight and Deron bolts, they’ll easily be the worst team in the league.

WITH THE 2ND PICK OF THE 2012 NBA DRAFT…. THE CHARLOTTE BOBCATS SELECTS HARRISON BARNES FROM UNC…….

  • Nate C

all you guys screaming conspiracy are stupid, the league no longer owns The Hornets

  • http://www.MARCA.com MAS

If the Bobcats are smart they send the #2 pick to Portland for the two lottery picks the blazers have. At least make an offer. If you couldn’t land the #1 pick the might as well get two good players in a deep draft. If the Blazers pair up MKG with L.A. it could be a good one-two punch. Like back in the day with B. Roy.

  • Matt Park

Looks like the Warriors keep their protected pick..

  • LA Huey

If the draft lottery was rigged…the Knicks would have landed a top-3 pick in the ’03 lottery.
If the draft lottery was rigged…the Celtics would have landed a top 2 pick in the 2007 draft.
If the draft lottery was rigged…the Celtics (not the small-market-already-had-a-HOFer-center Spurs) would have landed the top pick in the Duncan draft.

  • R32

NBA owns the Hornets and they jump from 4 to 1 on the draft board. Interesting.

  • http://stapledesign.com Spaceship Jay

The NBA doesn’t own the Hornets, and Monty isn’t a good coach.. Chris Paul is.

  • http://xkylex73895 wagers

    Cosign MAS, I like that
As a Wizards fan, if Beal isn’t there at 2 then you draft Doron Lamb in the Second Round and get Royce White at three in my opinion. He will be effective immediately and give us the scoring we need, or even Thomas Robinson for that matter but i’d rather have Royce White. Hopefully we can get at least one steal in free agency this year.

Now let’s see if they can keep Gordon.

There is only an agreement to buy the team, Benson has not actually purchased the team yet. He could back out at anytime.
