Lil Wayne is Angry With the OKC Thunder Once Again

After whining about not getting courtside seats in OKC a couple of weeks ago, rapper Lil Wayne was front and center on celebrity row for Game 1 of the Heat/Thunder NBA Finals last night. Weezy wasn’t happy, though, and moaned about the experience on Twitter: “Again I was treated like sh!t by the Thunder arena staff…dam..I hope da Heat beat da dog sh!t out em!!”

Mike, stop. Every point you made was dumb. If he actually did pay for the seat he paid the same amount as everyone else sitting in his row. He deserves whatever treatment is typical of that arena. Nothing more. Your “fact” just shows why celebrities act the way they do. Dumb m#th@rf%rs like you feed into the bs and make them think they are more than human. A lot of people make a lot of money but most aren’t famous. You know nothing about business, that’s for sure. Exactly how does Wayne affect the bottom line of the Thunder organization? Then you have the nerve to say it might be because he’s black? Stfu and go back to school. They treated him the way they treated everyone else. You’re a celebrity worshipping, d*ck riding, ignorant, uneducated, low self-esteem having, broke b#st%rd who is too stupid to see that “celebrities” are no better than any other individual. You are a pathetic waste of life.

  • http://Somethingsomething. Ugh

If he wants courtside seats he should start playing guitar. There’ll be plenty of empty seats for him to choose from right away.

  • MeloMan15

what do you expect… he’s giving it to hardens girl. Ofcourse his team arena is gunna hate him. Plus this guy is the biggest bandwagoner ever

  • anthony

Then quit bringing your whining ass to OKC!! Go make a mixtape about it..

Some celebrities need to be humbled and Lil Wayne is one of them. You can’t go around thinking you better than others, look where you came from New Orleans i think he’s forgotten about his past since he moved to Miami. Also i understand wanting to not be bothered but, have you security do it in a better manner than that it was a kid man.

At the meat . Me an you both do not know how lil Wayne was treated, if it was bad or good . But fact is lil Wayne was dissatisfied with his treatment , wether it be bad service or he is jus whiny , it was atypical on how he is usually treated , which I imagine is usually well considering his income, an how much he allegedly spends .  I didn’t say celebrities should be worshipped , I said they have a lot of influence an spend a lot of money , hence u treat them well , they will spend more money , an influence. Thats a fact , thats why casinos treat high rollers better than regular people , thats why thy have waiters an servers who take orders at club an lower bowl seats as opposed to nose bleed seats , that’s why they are given free stuff an get into clubs an VIP places for free this  theory of business is not new .Treating a celebrity or anyone with strong influence , wether it be dr , lawyer , ceo or business owners well can have a positive effect on how they  feel about thunder an even the city of Oklahoma .
This may affect if lil Wayne would ever be a fan of the thunder or Oklahoma, he could have 1 day wore a durant jersey , or shouted out okc in a positive manner . These could all indirectly affect sales of jerseys, merchandise etc. Or if lil Wayne an young money would ever tour in that area , lots of things could possibly come into play . He doesn’t need to be worshipped , but good service and positive influence a small cost to what potential effects it could have. This is all very basic .

@the meat-And to point out he is black is very much relevant. Any person of color /ethnicity would tell u that a one time or another they have been treated less than others an some point in there life , this could have been one of those times .  racism to some degrees does exist my friend. An it was a question , since no one from the thunder knows him personally I was simply listing what people may know of lil Wayne on the surface. Hes rich , young , black, a rapper/entertainer. I would love
To know what job/life you live where there is no hierarchy in the workplace , where the custodian is treated like the CEO an racism does not exist.

  • Yesse

All i gotta say is, how can Lil Wayne keep on complaining like a diva? He already looks like an ugly girl, he should stop acting like one. Besides if he want’s better treatment, i think he should start making better music.

  • Dj Taste

    Lil’ Wayne is a TOOL.

One or two decent tracks don’t make you the greatest rapper alive.

My comments aren’t showing up but I’ll keep posting until they do because it has to be said..Re-post….. Mike you’re wrong and so is anyone who co-signs you. This is same little rapper brat wanted the team to remove a paying customer so that he could get a last minute free courtside seat. The same little whiny brat who complained when Miami Heat players didn’t say hi to him during games. Do you understand that everyone sitting courtside paid for those seats? On what basis is he entitled to better treatment than everyone else? Your casino analogy demonstrates both your lack of business knowledge and your lack of knowledge on the proper use of an analogy. Lil Wayne does not frequent games in Oklahoma. There is a finite amount of time you spend at a basketball arena, therefore there is a finite amount of money you can spend in the arena. Neither of those things apply in a casino, where the purpose is to make the customers stay longer and spend unlimited amounts of money. Beyond the ticket, no one is spending “high roller” casino money in a basketball arena. At least try to make a little sense when you bring up completely

  • http://blackamericaweb.com charliewinnig

…unrelated analogies. No one here made the point that racism and discrimination don’t exist. Not a single person said that. I’m a black man and you know what burns me up as much a racist does? When people like you resort to false claims of racism whenever someone like Wayne doesn’t get his way. Name one example of this bad treatment. Just one. Wayne himself cannot even say how he was treated so badly. Meathead may be white, but he isn’t wrong in this case. You countered his arguments with general statements on race issues, but had nothing to say specifically about this situation. You can’t because it doesn’t apply. Not with his history of behavior. You have people co-signing you here that since I’ve been posting on this site have yet to contribute one single comment of substance to any social issue discussion here. That says a lot.

    Lil who?

I’d also like to know what Wayne is influencing out there. This team sold out every home game this season. This team has a loyal fan base already. Why should he be treated better than the people who are actually fans of the team. These people spend more money there than he does. Especially the season ticket holders. You have to be high on drugs if you think Wayne has an impact on OKC merchandise sales. You just sound silly right now. It’s like when rappers thought that boycotting Cristal would affect their sales. The health of the economy has an impact on on sales and merchandise, not some rapper. Put down the rap-filled iPod and take business classes. You need them.

Why did my other comments disappear? This is why I stopped coming here. Subpar moderators let every idiot comment through, but the moment someone makes any sense they erase the comment.

  • Benjamin Epstein

I love how after supposedly being treated so bad that he still decides to come to the thunder’s home games, and continues to nag about the experience on twitter. watch it on TV like everyone else and stop whining

  • DJ

NOBODY cares what Lil Wayne thinks or feels!

  • Dewon

Lil Wayne is in no way the greatest rapper ever. Last time I checked, Tupac DID LIVE at one time and I don’t think he turned the crown over to Lil Sh**.
