Polladaday: Steve Nash’s Future?

Steve Nash is hitting free agency this summer, and there’s plenty of speculation floating around about his next move. Where do you think he suits up next?

Which team will Steve Nash play for next season?

Everyone already knows how I’m going to respond. With that said, make it happen, Walsh.

portland reports say he has a shortlist and portlands on it

  • Mike

If Nash went to Portland that’d be sick even though I have no idea why he’d go there

  • Nashty

STAY IN PHOENIX Dude.. They love you there!
and You can win a TITLE in phoenix,

Dont worry slam you guys do a great job on the regular but let me help you revise the question:
    A. Miami (the only logical answer)
    B. Knicks (dude i know you wanna at least get out the first round)
    C. Raptors (dude I know you wanna make the playoffs)
    D. Suns (jared dudley will only take u so far)
    E. Other (LA dosent like veteran point guards on their roster, memphis would be a shocker)
    F. Nets (Jay-Z dosent play basketball)

Nash will sign with Portland Trailblazers

  • Harglhargle

    or Magic
Honestly, probably not Miami because I can’t see them working together, It would be a total shock to the system, Nash Wade and Lebron often needing the ball to make plays

    I could be wrong though
Also, I kind of feel they may not have the cash to sign a PG who will retire soon. As in it wouldn’t be worth it long term.. But again I could be wrong

I’d love to see him on the Magic, that’d probably keep Dwight around. That said, he’ll probably go to either NY team.

If you read Nash’s interview he said more than a championship matters. And the first thing he listed was Salary. He’s will be a Phoenix Sun or Toronto Raptor. I’m like 90% sure.

Unless its a sign and trade. Phoenix really really wants Iman Shumpert. And New York really really wont be able to RW him when he does become a free-agent unless they amnesty Amar’e.

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

Nbk, what would be the Lin/Nash rotation then? Run Jeremy at the 2?

  • http://Slamonline.com nbk

Lin would play 15-20 minutes a night. He isn’t really that good. You gotta think about how no teams game planned for him during that initial stretch and look at how he got absolutely destroyed defensively.

  • b. deezy

i think he’ll go 2 the heat. how fun would it bee 2 see nash settin’ up the big 3 as they go on 2 defend the ‘chip =D

  • Caleb

STEVE NASH 2 celtics 4 ray ray?

  • http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine VanCityBBall

if the heat are truely happy with Chalmers and Norris Cole ( a young talent that the heat organization talks highly about) i doubt that nash should/would go there

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

If Nash said he wanted to play for the Heat, Chalmers and Cole would be valued about as much as Ben Wallace’s free throw stroke.

  • Tyler

Lakers anyone? Compared to Ramon Sessions it is not even close and regardless of how old he is Nash would be the best point guard Kobe has played with in years if not ever in his career. Add that to the Lakers most likely increasing their team chemistry by getting rid of Gasol and that sounds like a championship formula to me.

  • timbo slice

cosign tyler i see him fitting the best in the purple and gold

^Lakers idiots again. Cap room guys, come on, it’s not a difficult concept.

Lake: You know, I think Kobe and LeBron would both fit AMAZINGLY on the Magic with Dwight in the middle. Can we go sign them please??!?

Hmmm.. Seems like it could work out on the court.
    Should work just fine then!
