Indiana Pacers Sign Gerald Green

The Indiana Pacers announced yesterday they have signed free agent swingman Gerald Green. Terms of the deal are not yet known, but it is expected to be in the 3-year, $10 million range. Via Wane.com: “Green is a five-year veteran who has played for five teams in the NBA. Most recently, he finished the 2011-12 season with the New Jersey Nets, where he averaged 12.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. In his career, he has averaged 8.3 ppg and 2.2 rpg. ‘We’ve watched Gerald and we saw how he improved last year,’ said Kevin Pritchard, Pacers General Manager. ‘His scoring off the bench should help us in the future. He’s one of the most dynamic athletes I’ve seen, and how he’s improved will make him a great addition to the Pacers family.’”

Good pick up. Athletic as hell. Probably did best in game dunk of the year. But last seasons play has shown improvements good for him.

Would of love to have him in Brooklyn but he deserves to get paid, he really matured and worked hard to get back.

Gerald has improved tho. His iQ around the game has him playing kinda scary. He’ll be a good pickup.

An Augustin, Green, George backcourt has to be the most athletic in the L.

Good pickup, just wish he would have went to a real contending team. Chicago would have been great for him. He has improved and he is a beast at 69 rating on NBA2K12.

Augustin had a 35 vert at the draft combine…
