Indinana Pacers to Re-Sign George Hill

They still have to decide what to do about Roy Hibbert, but the Pacers have now started the process of bringing back the core of the team that took the eventual NBA Champions to six games. From the Indianapolis Star: “The Pacers have agreed to a five-year deal that will keep Indianapolis native George Hill in Indiana, according to a source. Financial terms of the deal are unavailable at the moment. Hill will sign his new contract once the NBA’s moratorium period ends on July 11. The Pacers acquired Hill, who starred at Broad Ripple High School and IUPUI, from the San Antonio Spurs on draft night 2011. Hill began last season coming off the bench at both guard positions. He moved into the starting point guard position late in the season when starter Darren Collison went down with an injury.”
