Steve Nash to Help Recruit Grant Hill to the Lakers?

Steve Nash, the Lakers’ newest point guard, will reportedly push for Grant Hill to follow him to Los Angeles. From ESPN: “Sources said that Nash will try to convince longtime teammate Grant Hill, one of his closest friends in the game, to join him with the Lakers. [The Lakers are] one of four teams (along with Toronto, New York and Phoenix) in the running for Hill after the 39-year-old’s recent trip to Germany to undergo the same platelet-enrichment treatment on his knee that Bryant credited for his rejuvenated knee last season. Lakers guard Steve Blake, who will back up Nash at the point, was excited about the acquisition. ‘I think it’s great! I look forward to playing with him.’”

Grant Hill is old, but still he can be reliable. These superstars in the League right now can’t do what Grant has been doing at age 35+.

Plus Grant is a pretty good defensive player

Kobe’s going to be the young guy on this team. Does he have to get the donuts every morning before practice now?

LOL at the bengay comment——–On the plus side my NBA LIVE ’97 game for SNES now only needs a few trades pulled off and having a Lakers vs Celtics battle is mostly possible.

Lol I can’t believe the comments about them being too old. 35-40 year olds in a retirement home? Ridiculous. The lakers may not finish with the best record in the West but that team will be dangerous come next June. Nash won’t handle the ball so much and run around the court. He’ll be able to stay fresh and knock down 3s for us. Everybody seems to be overlooking his value to the team right there. Lakers need shooters badly.

i am starting to think LA are a real chance to win the title this season.

No, Lakers are already getting old, they need younger players
