LeBron James Thinks the Miami Heat Can Be ‘a lot better’


LeBron wouldn’t go as far as teammate Chris Bosh did in claiming that the Miami Heat are trying to create a dynasty, but James is convinced that the defending champs can become a significantly better squad this season. Per the AP: “It’s scary to see, to look in our locker room today and say that we can be better than we were this past season,’ James said. ‘Are we better right now than we were just a couple months ago? Of course not. But we have the potential to be better. We have the potential to be a lot better. That is scary.’ [...] ‘He’s not on cruise control, no,’ Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said when asked about James. ‘He’s as driven a professional as I’ve been around. He understands not only his legacy, but team legacy and the opportunity that this team and organization has. And he savors that. He’s the ultimate competitor.’”

    however much better you guys think LeBron is gonna get better, is probably going to be negated by Wade declining. So no, i dont think (apart from depending how much their new aqusitons pan out, and even then, not ” A LOT” better they wont be) they’ll be A LOT better.

    Bron bron doesn’t have the heart nor will to accomplish something as challenging as a dynasty. The dude choked in the 2011 finals with Wade killing and Bosh who’s still a top 20 talent. Lebron was able to take advantage of the inexperienced thunder last seasons, props to him for doing so. But if anybody’s going to start a dynasty, its going to be the thunder. The Lakers however look to be the top team this season if Dwight can comeback fully healed from that back injury.

U don’t overcome eberything LeBron has overcame without having “HEART!” Especially what happened n the finals vs the Mavs. I’ll give u that. Why couldn’t it just be that LeBron won a championship last year and leave it at that? U had to give a back handed compliment by saying he took advantage of the thunder’s inexperience. The fact is the thunder were the best team out of the west. The beat the more “experienced” teams. So did Jordan do the same and “just take advantage” of the the team’s inexperience when he won his ships? It was Portland’s, Phoenix, Utah, and Seattle’s first time to the finals as well. Come on now. Let’s see if OKC keeps harden B4 all the dynasty talk.

    Miami’s title deff doesnt have a huge asterik on it… It was grueling for EVERY team and Miami also didnt even play with a fully healthy roster because of that.. It was anyones championship to win bro dont even be like that.

    First of all, know what you speak, The Blazers had made it to the finals two years prior to facing the Bulls. Mike beat the VERY experienced lakers his first time winning a championship(way to exclude that guy). He beat Utah twice, so you cant use that argument either. If you watched the game, you would see all the defensive mistakes OKC made guarding the heat. Mark Cuban eluded to it when on first take that the thunder didn’t follow anything the mavericks had done the previous year to defeat them. Too many lebron nut huggers….

    Well they only added to their championship Team without losing any major pieces so it’s not like they can get worse IMO this is all riding on how Spolestra uses his lineups correctly the heat have added Allen, Lewis, and Harrelson question now is how is coach Spo going to add these 2 and a half players in the rotation without effecting the chemistry lol! (jokes aside Harrelson is actually pretty solid in limited minute’s).

    Uh no it doesn’t …Its not like he has had one playoff run where he choked or gave up….he has a history of it. One chip against the inexperienced thunder does not make up for that.
