Gregg Popovich Says LeBron James No Longer Affected By Critics

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich expressed admiration for LeBron James, saying the Miami Heat superstar has gotten better at blocking out the noise that surrounds his shortcomings. Per the Miami Herald: “Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is always good for a quote about LeBron James, his favorite player in the league. Here’s what Pop said about James’ ongoing development. ‘He’s so good already,’ Popovich said. ‘We all know what his skills are. He’s a great passer, he can rebound, he can defend. But I think, if anything, he is maturing mentally in the sense that he is enjoying playing the game. He doesn’t listen to talking heads anymore — or a lot less than when he first came in the league.’”

    Wow, coach pops favorite player?

That wasn’t a direct quote, think the author was being sarcastic, at the very least he was taking poetic license.

Bron should’ve never listened to critics in the first place.

No player should. You listen to your coach, team mates, family, and closest friends only. And you tell them to not be yes men and to be real with you.

Easier said than done. I can only imagine what it’s like to hear negative stories about myself, literally everyday.
