Big ups to the Women and the Youth vote.

  • KipSmithers

Saw a thing on C-Span several years ago about how the youth vote(especially early to mid-twenties) were the first to watch Barney The Dinosaur and transitioned to Harry Potter(which expands to all 20′s and even many early 30′s) and how they got much of their world view from those properties, plus how “left-wing” they were. This type of voter could go on for 20 plus years.

The “new school” baby boomers perhaps?

  • KipSmithers

Maybe. The Boomers become more right-wing the older they got. We’ll know in 20 years.

i wish i could see Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes conversation.

  • Ugh

What I can’t work out is how Hawes is a union rep. Either he or I are very confused about his political opinions – can’t tell which.

Why do NBA player’s support Obama so much? He’s for increasing taxes on the 1%, ie. them. They want are fine with paying higher taxes?! Interesting..

  • DirkNowitzki4life

I’m sure taxes aren’t their only concern in the world. They’ll still be rich no matter who is president. Maybe they care about representation for all citizens regardless of ethnicity, income, race, gender, or sexual orientation. Maybe they care about ending wars with U.S soldiers involved. Maybe they care about the environment. There’s more to life than money. A lot of players weren’t born with silver spoons in their mouths so it isn’t hard to care about more than the one percent.
