NBA Players React to Rajon Rondo’s Season-Ending ACL Injury

Sadly, the Celtics announced Sunday that Rajon Rondo will miss the remainder of the 2012-13 season with a torn ACL. Plenty of guys around the League then voiced their support of the Boston guard on Twitter—check out what they had to say in the gallery above.

    7th year in the league and already a future hall of famer, you played with one arm in the playoffs,you played 2 quarters in OT with a torn ACL, you made it through shoot around and was about to try and play again, there is no dout on my mind that you will be back even better than you were, Rajon Rondo will eat, drink and sleep nothing but rehab!!!!!

    A future HoFer? Idk if that’s the case YET. But he really is a great player as much as I hate the Celtics& the fans for laughing at Rose..Rondo will have a nice shot once he returns. That’s pretty deadly, he’ll be better.

    But dang even Rose didnt get this much love from his injury, I’m salty lol.

    I Know the Celtics players weren’t laughing at Rose’s injury. I can only speak for the fans I know but he’s always had my respect. It is never o.k. to celebrate someone else’s misfortune. I wish Rose the best of luck in his recovery and of course I wish Rondo the best in his.

    Likewise, yeah Boston fans were making a lot of jokes but that’s the few & the dumb. Rondo will actually get better after this, a Rondo with a shot is pretty impressive.
